Thanks, man, for the kind words. I will address some of the issues you pointed out.

Actually, there is a dodge/leap mechanic; it is described in the controls panel. I noticed some people use these mechanics, and some people do not know they exist. I should probably flesh out this information about dodge/leaps more on the game's surface. Perhaps some tutorial stage.

In another version of the game, jumping is used for platforming. But still you can avoid some hits or fire-missiles with that jumping.

Thanks very much.  Very detailed feedback. I’m very happy you got that 30 minutes and “one last time” situation, hehe like “just one more turn syndrome”. xD :D Made my day. The first time I saw the “frenetic” word and it felt great/interesting you described the combat experience with this. Good point with that stun-lock. You are the first person besides my one local friend who tested the game and mentioned that. I tried to address that and made it better, but I think I have to go even more drastic on that issue (making it easier for the player to get out of that situation). Thanks very much for all the other points you made.

Glad to help. :) I tried to jump/fall/kill_myself/collect the boomerang a couple of times and then my "rage quit" instinct won xD. 

on KB+Mouse

I liked the atmosphere made with the music, visuals, and wall-notes. In the first minutes, I died a lot because I tried to run and I stumbled onto enemies frequently - so that was frustrating for me. While running I didn’t have time to react to stop moving or change direction when an enemy was in sight. If I had to propose any changes then maybe some tweaks on player/enemies movement speed and range of the flashlight. I got the feeling of dread and mystery so that was cool. In the end, I got a little lost and couldn't find the last tunnel but I managed to do it eventually. Congrats on made upgrades!

A great game, with a lot of mechanics and content, it reminds me in some ways of Rogue Legacy and Dead Cells. There is a lot of stuff to do, and in my first minutes, I even felt a bit overwhelmed. Maybe from some repair points of view, I think I found an edge case design problem with the tutorial area. I am talking about the area with a boomerang in a chest, I have thrown the chest with the boomerang into the pit with spikes, then I could not collect the boomerang and was stuck in the area, so then I had to restart the whole tutorial.


  1. about core mechanics,  2) about player status feedback

Ad1) When I am shooting it feels good, when ammo zeroes out it gets boring, reloading time feels too long for me, especially since I think the reloading should be continued in the background even when you change to the melee weapon. During gameplay I would like a scenario when I shoot the whole magazine, then change to melee weapon, do 1-2 slams, and then change to range weapon with a full magazine but at this point when I change to the shooting weapon it still reloads and it is frustrating, like the action is slowed down because of that.

Ad2) Until there is no health bar or reloading animation or ammo magazine status I would propose even simple writings, Health X, Reloading timer showing value from Y to 0.

Another thing with weapons swapping. I notice that often when I want to swap the weapons I also want to be in constant movement, but when playing on a keyboard I have to move fingers from AWSD to 1 or 2 and it slows down the action or makes my dodging capability worse. At the same time, the right mouse button is still not used. I do not know how many weapons you would like to have in the future but if the weapons loadout will be 2 at a time then maybe the weapon swapping should be done automatically when using the Left Mouse button and right mouse button, RMB could swap to melee weapon and then do the slamming. Or both weapons should be visible all the time just make shooting with LMB and melee attacks with RMB.

Shooting and slamming felt good as they are. As long I had enemies to shoot and Enemie’s missiles flew in my direction ( so I needed to make dodges) it was great. Good job with the developed core mechanics!

I enjoyed your game.  I like the game loop from the reference game. At the start, it was a little slow but I got some upgrades on speed and rotation and it was better for me. When the mines appeared I felt more much-needed pressure. :) One issue I had was this: For most of my playthrough I didn't know where the bullets were flying I thought it was random, but then (probably after 70-80% time of the playthrough) I noticed they go to the mouse cursor position. Info about aim was on the start screen but it slipped away from me. I would suggest maybe a targeting crosshair following the mouse cursor position. The boss fight was fun! 

I enjoyed the game even though I am not a puzzle game enthusiast. I think I completed 2 levels and some of the 3rd. The game was engaging, the only technical issue I noticed was sometimes when I was jumping onto rotating platforms and made a quick jump from them then the double jump sometimes didn’t work. Because of that, it was sometimes frustrating.

Probably without the descriptions of mechanics and controls on the game webpage, I would be confused. Before making upgrades from your "Future updates" I would suggest more in-game UI elements to introduce controls and mechanics. I liked the game's visuals and general chill vibes.

I also enjoyed the game it was very fun to play. For me at the time when I played all movement parameters were good I didn't have any problems with them ( but I do not know if you made any adjustments since vecima's comment). I would just want more levels  :D , game ended very quickly but the mechanics are solid and fun and have a good "feel" in my opinion. I tried to jump on the orcs heads and I think the player can get stuck/stunned/shaken this way.

I think the gameplay loop is solid and the game is engaging. I had to die a few times to learn my ways, especially with getting back health points.

My suggestions:

1) when you activate the  upgrade screen put the cursor arrow outside the upgrade buttons and or deactivate the click possibility for some time maybe 1-2 seconds 

My observations:

2) probably a bug after upgrading the "Balance Blade +1 strike to combo" After using this upgrade I try to make a double-click combo, but I do not quite feel a big difference, is the sword slash restart time shorter? I think that by clicking quickly left mouse button with this upgrade the player is starting to slash constantly even if I do not use the left mouse button to click anymore. I had to change the weapon to make the constant attacking stop.

- I like the cost/consequence of upgrades,  (power but at a cost)

- I managed to play it all through. Unfortunately, I became a monster myself in the process xD. 

- When I killed the final boss and pressed restart I walked around and noticed that a big thick black frame was left around the final crypt. ( I add a jpg)


- You could probably tweak some stuff with: a) player’s attacks queuing (probably also connected to my comment on blade upgrade), 

b) player’s attacks restart time ( being more visible for the player somehow)

c) melee enemies’ attacks signalization/telegraphing ( with the bow it was very clear and visible )

I liked the game loop :D and special customer events xD. I was quite engaged in the gameplay but the game crashed during one of the bargain phases just after I dragged and dropped one of the cards on the table. I do not remember what card it was but I managed to make a screenshot (post-crash). On the screen-shot you can see a card "Doom Whis..." but I do not remember I was dragging that one. Probably yes but I can't tell for 100%. Also, I noticed this kind of a bug: a) [bug] After starting one of the trading days I noticed 2 cards inside of my deck with amount of x0 , and I was able to drag them on the table for the customers. Maybe both bugs were on the same day but I can not tell for sure.
I would like to see what will happen when I do not get the 500 moneys on time, but the issue with the crash made me stop.
With the current money and trading balance it is hard to tell if it is possible to get to 500 money in 20 days.
