Really worth using zip here as both Windows and OSX unpack these out of the box, WinRAR a paid proprietary program not everyone has or has heard of.

Thank you for playing, we were going for weird. :)

Ah, I should have explained this but if you spam Space you can wiggle yourself out of those stuck locations if they happen.

Glad you enjoyed it though!

That was a great entry, it started off establishing "yes this is going to be Metroidvania" but then it threw in some really cool combo powers. It all felt really solid to play. Well done!

I enjoyed your game a lot, and it was great seeing such a solid Godot game that nails the theme. Like a few people have said below, the audio was also really appealing.

Glad you enjoyed it regardless! Yeah sadly this is the caveat when using an engine like UE5, it has a lot of fancy rendering and stuff going on and I didn't exactly spend a huge amount of time optimising.

I really enjoyed this - the character is really endearing and I love the little pitter patter footsteps.

My main point of feedback would be around the control scheme. It's sort of unusual to use J/K/L so my fingers weren't very used to it. Also because space is jump but also skips dialogue, I kept skipping dialogue by mistake. Regardless though, this felt really polished.

Thanks for playing! I think the reason I settled on a slower move speed is because I spent ages working on the procedural leg walking physics and once I got that working I realised I can't easily change the walk speed without it all needing retuning so I opted to just keep it at my first choice of speed which is possibly a bit slow for some people wanting to get through faster.

Thanks for letting me know, I think I can do an easy fix for that bug.

I enjoyed it - if I could give one piece of feedback I'd say there is a bit too much delay on attacking so it often tripped me up when I was fighting things.

I didn't have any issues on mouse and keyboard, great game! I especially liked the spikes that fall one by one as you pass them.

Thank you for playing! Yeah the main feedback I got really is that it's not clear how to end - I also didn't want to just put up a big arrow so I figured I'd make the other sheep tell you but it's easy to miss. If the jam wasn't over I'd probably do another pass on that.

That was great! Didn't really run into any bugs and I loved the aesthetic.

This was great - I loved the looping nature of the level letting you get to know it but changing it up a bit each time. I used a similar looping mechanic in the game we submitted but it was quite tricky to do in a 3D game.

As I said in a comment on the game page, I thought this was really solid despite you saying in the intro screen you think you didn't have all the resources you wish you had to make something bigger. :) Especially considering you made this at 14, I am pretty sure I had complete brain empty at that age.

I know you said in the intro screen you think you didn't have the resources to do everything you wanted, but I think this was pretty cool and really captures the metroidvania essence more than many of the games in the jam. Well done!

Cheers, and thanks for playing!

Cool!
