Waaah, this game is awesome!I love the fact that you need to type "FIGHT" and "RESTART" to play the game! That's such an awesome detail!
Congrats!

Yeaaaah!
RPG Maker MV, it brings back so many memories! The music, the art style... I used to make games like this for my little brother!

Thanks for the nostalgia trip! ❤️

You just nailed the theme, nice idea!

Aloha!

Thanks a ton for playing our tiny game and for the feedback!
You're absolutely right about the controls. We probably got a bit too used to our own setup during development and didn't take enough distance from a player's perspective !

The idea was to separate the click and Space bar to avoid accidental inputs, but in the end it probably made the experience less intuitive.

Having an outside perspective really helps catching those little things! Thanks!

Aloha!
Thanks a ton for playing our tiny game and for the kind words! ❤️

Haha, I'm glad the Basilisk managed to surprise you! Its face on the game over screen is so goofy, I love it!
And yeah, a proper victory screen would have been a nice addition... but the 3-hour limit was brutal!

Thanks again for taking the time to play it! 😄

Yeah, Garance and Lya Mgtt are definitely from another planet, I was so amazed by their art during the jam, they're so talented!!
Thanks a lot!

Thanks a ton for the kind words and for taking the time to play our game!

Trust me, we were expecting this too!
But the 3-hour limit caught us off guard, and we had to make some sacrifices!

Thanks a ton for taking the time to play our tiny game and for the kind feedback! ❤️

Lya Mgtt and Garance are the best! ❤️
The game would probably have looked like this if I had to make all the art myself... and honestly, we would be in trouble. 😂

Aloha!
You're absolutely right about the Space key. I initially separated the Space bar and the button click to avoid accidental inputs, but I think I was probably too deep into development and missed the obvious solution 😅

Having an outside perspective really helps catching these little things!
Also, I'm really happy you enjoyed the art, sounds, and the mini-game! I actually come from the mobile game world, and the Pop the Lock style of mini-game is exactly the kind of thing we used to see everywhere back then!
It made me laugh to base this game around this idea!

Thanks again for playing and for the feedback! 💚

Aloha!
Thanks a ton for trying our tiny game! ❤️

I decided to separate the Space bar and click actions to avoid accidental inputs, but I guess I had my head too deep in the code 😅
You're right, putting everything on Space would probably have been the better solution!
It really shows how important it is to have an outside perspective sometimes!

I'm a sucker for Pico-8 aesthetic so I might be biased, but that's a great entry especially considering it has been made in less than 3h, congrats!

Waaah TYSM!!!

Thanks a ton, we had a blast working on this tiny one!

Simple yet very fun, well done!
Adding enemy types with different behaviors was a great idea!
I would have liked to see a score while playing, but it's definitely a great entry!

Yaaay, eye literally contact!!
I wanted to make a game around this theme too at first! Really fun idea, and you did a great job! Very fun for a game made in only 3h, congrats!

Nice and simple, very well done!
It reminds me of Larcin Lazer (also made with Construct I think!)

<3

She's so coooool... But she keeps stealing our crush! But she's so coooool! I can't even be mad at her 😭

Aloha, thanks a ton!

Yeah, Garance is the best! I was completely blown away when she sent me the first draft of the game's art.
She absolutely nailed the vibe!

Thank you so much for playing our Cosmic Fishing game!

Congrats, you deserved your trophee!
Thanks for playing our game my Karpys QuiVeutDuGrog <3

Thanks a lot! We're glad you enjoyed our tiny fishing game!

Did you manage to catch'em all?

Super cool!
The idea is smart and really well executed!
My best attempt so far is level 13, I couldn’t make it further, but I’ve seen enough to say this game has great potential!

I'd love to have more tools to influence luck, like chopping down trees to create new paths for the orcs (and eventually get some wood in return), placing different kinds of traps, destroying one of our house to gain resources, etc.
Also, being able to place certain elements ourselves, like the portal trap, would open up some really clever strategies!

Overall, I’m very curious to see where this game goes. It’s pretty tough right now, maybe there’s something I haven’t fully figured out yet,  but watching orcs fall is already super satisfying, and I love how the pace speeds up when no trap can stop them!

Really looking forward to seeing more!

Let's go!
I'm really happy my tiny idea works on you, thanks a lot for taking the time to play my game!

Thank you so much!

Thanks a bunch, it means a lot!

Polish and simple controls are what I aim for as a game developer, so I can't be happier reading this, thanks!

Thanks a lot!
I would have loved to add more levels and challenging platforming stuff, but considering the time limit, it is a miracle that this game has more than 3 levels tbh, haha!

Haha, I was head-bobbing during development too, glad you like it!

Thanks a lot for taking the time to play my game!

About the jump power limit, I’m not sure... I really like that if you master the game, you can solve most of the level with just one jump. It feels satisfying to me!

But on the other hand, maybe you're right and it’s a bit too simple right now, haha!

Thanks a lot for your detail feedback, I’m really happy you liked the screen animation, that’s what I spent the most time on!

Woopsi! Sorry for the inconvenience!
How did you managed to make it work?
Just changing your browser?

Thanks a lot for taking the time to play this tiny game <3

So cool!
Looks like we had the same idea, but with a different loading method, that's fun!
I'm really happy to see your take on the theme!
I would have loved for the camera to be less zoomed in, so obstacles were easier to anticipate, but knowing it was made in under 3 hours, amazing job, congrats!

Very cool, I love minimalistic games and this one is amazing, especially when you know it has been made in only 3h!
Congrats, awesome job!

I really loved this one!

Recharging jump on collect is a really neat idea as it allow very cool and challenging moments!

Probably one of my favorite game from this jam, congrats!

Thanks a bunch!
I'm so glad you like this animation. I put a lot of effort into it because without it, the game wouldn’t really capture the theme.
Merci!

Congrats!
I'm glad you like the game idea of Loading...!
It clearly needs more time to tweak some values and add other levels and interactions, but I'm very happy with what I achieved in 3h!

Thanks a lot for taking the time to play my game <3

Impressive for a first game!
My early ones didn’t look like this at all!

The mood of the game is really great, and I love the movement of the spaceship.

I really like your take on the shooting mechanic, where you're slowed down when firing—it stops you from just holding the button for the whole game!

The shooting upgrade feels a bit too strong compared to the others, but considering you made this in just 5 days, that’s really impressive!

Keep it up 🔥

Really cool game with an engaging idea!
The art is really cute, the music is catchy and the game is playful and fun!
You did a really great job and can be really proud, congrats to the team!
