This was posted in just one other place, since that is where I first found out about you using SubscribeStar, and later reposted here since it looked like a better fit for this topic... But fair enough, it wasn't my intention to spam.

I'll admit that I first did my research into Boosty, that one I dug real deep into and found a ton of dirt. I am happy that you also seem to acknowledge that what I said IS the case for that platform, so we don't really have a disagreement there.

As for SubscribeStar, you have some valid points. I started looking into it, quickly found out that it has russian roots (many russian businesses will register abroad and pull all sorts of tricks to hide their origin and allegiance, so registration alone doesn't really mean anything), then saw a few posts on russian-speaking forums with artists advertising it as a "domestic" alternative to all those "unfriendly western platforms and their unfair sanctions", and that was enough for me to blacklist the whole thing. I haven't looked into whether it operates in the same way as Boosty does, I simply assumed so since that is what people were advertising it as - a tool to bypass sanctions once they got removed from Western platforms after the new round of sanctions. It is possible that this is simply how russians are using it, and the few foreign artists on the platform see it completely differently. We'd also need to look into how they handle their finances, but I think ultimately this won't really change anything as from what I know there are no other alternatives.

The key difference and the thing I disagree on is that I believe in the concept of collective/shared responsibility. I know how their society works, I can speak their language and as such I see and hear what they talk about when it is just them. A lot of russian artists will pretend that they are "outside of politics" or are "too afraid to say anything" just to keep doing business with the Western audience. They get a lot of money and the westerners get a clear conscience and relatively low prices from doing business with the "good russians". But then the same artists will openly support the war if it is in a conversation with another russian (or someone they assume to be a russian based on the spoken language). I've had many russian friends like that, who showed their true colors only after the invasion has started... all the chauvinism and hatred when you refuse to bow down to their way of things, their world view. I am not saying there are no good Russian people, there certainly are. There also is a fair number of Russian artists who will put flags for Russian opposition, peace movement, or even "stop war" or "support Ukraine" slogans straight on their profile, or will at least state their opinion when asked, contrary to all the excuses from the ones who simply lie and dodge...

That said, it is still my belief that russian citizens are totally responsible for the atrocities of their government because it is their outright ideological support, profit-driven cooperation, or at the very least silent indifference that allowed all of this to happen. It isn't a million Putlers who are invading Ukraine now, but rather over a million russians who signed contracts with the Ministry of "Defense" and who are fine with slaughtering innocents for money... not to mention tens of millions who are voluntarily donating funds to keep their military going despite the wide-spread government corruption, and just about as many people assembling weapons and directly working for the government to prop up the current kleptocrat regime. So no, I totally believe in ALL sanctions that were placed on the russian people, effective or not. This war will end only when the population of the invading country PERSONALLY feels enough discomfort to stop supporting this slaughter or alternatively just start caring about "politics" enough to end Putler's rule. Remember, they can stop this at any moment and just go home, but every day tens of millions of them chose to sacrifice their own lives and futures to satisfy ambitions of their beloved "uncle Putler"/czar, most often because those ambitions coincide with their own >_>

But hey, that's just me... obviously this topic is very important to me as it directly affects myself and my family. Ultimately, I think we two have an understanding, so I'll just stop before this becomes even more political than it already is. You certainly have enough BS to deal with right now, so apologies for bringing up this mess too.

The problem with SubscribeStar is that it is ruSSian...  It has been created to bypass the law when ruSSians started getting sanctions for their horrific invasions of Georgia and Ukraine, just like Boosty is their alternative for PayPal and Patreon. Pretty much no one uses those services except people who want to dodge sanctions (usually ruSSians themselves, who still think they can support the horrific atrocities of their government and still be entitled to all the modern amenities of the civilized world) and those who have been shunned by the Western bloc, which now seems like fictional porn creators fall under (ridiculous and self-destructive) >_>

I wouldn't be bringing up "politics" and opposing this so much if I weren't from Ukraine myself... So by using those resources you'd be helping the ruSSian kleptocrat regime bypass sanctions and bring in hard cash into their economy so they can continue ordering foreign components to put into their missiles and kamikaze drones, which are then used on innocent Ukrainian civilians (like me) and most likely a few years down the line confused and unprepared Europeans too...

So yeah, I am pretty sure that THIS is why some banks will not work with those sites and payment processors - they flag them as illegal/risky according to the current regulations and sanctions on those countries, companies, and people in charge of those services. I hope that either the situation changes, or that you can eventually find an alternative that won't be paying transaction and currency exchange fees straight into Putler's pockets :\

The problem is that I have zero interest in doing awful things to other NPCs or even player characters, but I like it when it is the other way around. I like to upgrade the character to make them strong, then find some sort of disgusting or humiliating baddie and... well, sit back, purposefully not resist, and simply enjoy watching my own character get absolutely destroyed.

And the thing with that is the slower and more unnatural, exotic, or hardcore the peril - the better. So while things Lona can do to others sound interesting from the gameplay perspective, sadly I am only ever interested in all the bad-ends and debuffs she herself can encounter...

I've looked around the wiki, stuff like slavery, body mutilation, race, or even getting sterilized sound fun, so does pregnancy and STDs. So you are right that this game has a ton of potential, even if it doesn't go too deep into non sex-themed bad-ends.

She can? Good, then at least part of it is implemented! That's why I said that I may be unaware of some events that may already be in the game, so thank you for pointing it out.

As for the kink itself, it is a fetish, so unless you have it you wouldn't get anything out of it or be able to understand it. But let's just say that there are entire separate games dedicated exclusively to vore, so it has its own audience.

That is the impression I've gotten from playing it myself too. Oh well, I suppose it is just not *that* kind of game! At least it seems like they know what they want to produce and are focused on achieving their goals.

As for your question, I don't really have an answer aside from an assurance that it doesn't always come from a sadistic side like the way you described it. Quite a few people enjoy such themes through a masochistic kink or two that they may have, just like some people may enjoy their sex on the rougher or more humiliating side both on the giving and the receiving end. It is a two-way street, not just some sick "I hate this guy so let's pretend this is him" kind of deal.  Besides, a lot of it is purely subjective and probably can't even be explained unless you are talking to a person who shares all the required fetishes.

I just thought that a game with such an impressive damage system, real-time combat, and seeming lack of fear to portray guro themes would have been a perfect fit for a few more exotic death scenarios, but as you have accurately pointed out, so far it really does look like those are focused almost exclusively on the nest rape mechanic...

I have only played an extremely old demo version of the game, and even then I didn't play for long. Chances are I don't know about some of the scenarios, but from what I have seen and a quick search of the forums, I assumed there wasn't any proper vore in the game. I randomly remembered about this game's damage system this morning and thought how nicely it would work to show gradual damage from hard, cooking, or graphic digestion vore, so yes, my question was rather specific. That said, apologies if some of it is already in the game! :)

P.S. If I get the game in the future, can you please elaborate on where one may be able to locate any content that resembles what I have asked for in my original post?

The damage system of this game is uniquely flexible and extensive, not to mention that everything is happening in real-time. This would be ideal for some rougher content, which you don't seem to shy away from. So my question then is following: were there or will there ever be plans for more "feral" beast enemies that can kill Lona in a variety of means, but most commonly by devouring her?

I am talking things like getting hunted and mauled down by a pack of wolves in the woods, or swallowed whole and digested by a large man-eating slime in the sewers, etc. There are plenty of options for all sorts of events with a number of beasts that can be lurking in lesser explored and more remote areas of the map, although I understand if that weren't your priority.

You also seem to have came close to implementing cannibalism, which would have been a fun and brutal game-over, hard-locking the character onto the path of losing limb after limb over the course of several days as their body is slowly harvested for live meat, until they are finally killed off for a feast of sorts. Now THAT would be dark!

I can't think of any other game engine and game maker who could pull something like that off, so thought I'd ask to see what your team thought about such themes. So, hard pass and no chance whatsoever, I imagine?

I am glad that you find the idea worth consideration. It is alright if it doesn't fit into these games, I just wanted to suggest it.
Thank you for answering! :)

Hi! So far I love your games, they are like a breath of fresh air among the furry-themed NSFW stuff! Heck, even the Japanese stuff doesn't really compare, as most of their games are with female characters, and I haven't seen any that have the same dark kinky vibe to them or go as deep into hypnosis and personality rewrite/destruction as part of the main gameplay loop. Your stuff is amazing in this regard, kudos! <3

I have a question though, maybe even a suggestion: do you have any plans for level-down mechanics in the next games?
Something where Mezz can become a noticeably stronger hero, but then the more he submits or gets his brain messed with, the more he forgets all of the techniques, and the weaker he becomes?
This can even have a fun bad end in store for when his level drops all the way down to 1... and then goes to 0, turning him into a permanent blank slate with no way to recover the lost memories to grow stronger >:P
