Thank you!

Thank you for playing  :]

Dude thank you for the comment and playthrough! Also the feedback was immensely helpful, it might lead to some new game mechanics.

yeeeee dog thanks for playing! That's actually part of the plan for the full version. Free  for all party game mode plus the story mode.

Epic game! I was happy to come across a pixel game maker entry. Polish was immaculate, art is incredible and gameplay is top tier. The bosses were awesome, contra-esque, right up my alley. Only addition I would make to the gameplay is upgrades, obviously time constraints made that tough, but for a future version of this game. All around awesome project, just missing theme/story stuff. I'm not sure if I accidently skipped any story in the beginning. I personally don't mind jumping right into the game, but for jam purposes I would have pushed the main character's story a bit more.

Yea i think a quick fix for now would be more common health drops. I also think after beating a boss a big drop would be kinda epic, you might have to scale how many gems the player actually gets so its not too much.

Really cool game, classic adventure game vibe with clean mechanics. I got no frame drops but my pc is pretty beefy. Only suggestion is altering access to health. I used all my money and potions early on to grind for the upgrades that weren't really helpful.  After a save I had no potions, no money and upgrades that didn't help much lol. Needless to say it was still a fun experience, this might just give some insight for players that do more grinding in the beginning.

Oh yea and I was kinda banking on the thought that the mushroom boss would drop me a bunch of money lol, got a cool upgrade but was flat broke.

Cool game man. I think pushing the jars as a weapon/health powerup was a unique combo. I even learned a way to push two at a time. Boss was dope!... just a little to easy.

Jank mechanics... yet extremely engaging gameplay say Whhuuttt!??? I truly had fun playing this. I didn't get much of the theme in here, but Gameplay and Engagement alone make this one  a must play.

Thank you for playing. I guess I need to nerf it more lol. Scaling difficulty level was a challenge. I appreciate the review, I'll check out your game sometime this week!

oh awesome thanks for the help! :]

I just realized exported Pixel Game Maker projects won't work on pc's without Pixel Game Maker. Will all the judges have Pixel game maker installed on their pc's or could we expect a DQ if they don't have it?

Thanks,

BimLab

Can this be used to make a day night cycle? I just want night to be dark with some lanterns around a town?

Beep Beep Boop... This game is great! Seriously had fun with it.

I'm going to be streaming in about an hour I hope you get this message! :]

awesome game! Tactical combat makes turn based so much more fun

Awesomely meta! A must play for the RPG maker and Harold jam community.

Very awesome tileset! Im using it for a new rpg maker game right now :]

Another Wrath o' Wood classic!

Another Wrath o' Wood classic retro game!

I liked the storyline and of course the retro style. Another game for the books! And loved the dedication to the pixel art.

Finally got a chance to stream this game! My stream loved it. It's definitely worth playing. Cute, cozy and endearing is how I would describe it. A village full of monsters who are much, much more.

Shawup!!!

for the rpg maker forums is that on rpg maker web? I'm not too familiar but if that's the one I will join that myself.

thanks about my stream :] i just do it for fun but I'm happy to meet others who also make games with rpg maker.  I thought I was the only one lol

I didn't get a chance to complete it last time so I'll add. Awesome pixel art especially the end! Thoroughly had fun and those damn little red flame things got me every time :). Also learned I shouldn't walk toward "danger".

Diggin it! I love the retro vibe as always.
