You're right, it's not supposed to be like this.

I've checked the Steam, Switch and PlayStation versions and they work fine. This is clearly a bug in the Xbox port.

I'll check with the publisher, as they're responsible for the console versions.

The game won't be published here, but you can find it on Steam and all consoles (Switch, PS4, PS5 and Xbox One/Series), also in German. There is a free demo too.

I just updated the info here and uploaded the new launch trailer.
