Thanks so much! We were trying to make it unique, so I'm glad we succeeded. It's a great way to learn new stuff :)

thanks so much! We know about the cursor lol, didn’t have time to fix it @~@

thanks so much! Our artists worked super hard, glad you liked it :)

glad you liked it!

Thanks so much! I definitely encourage still going for the idea yourself, there are quite a few hurdles we didn’t anticipate from the idea alone. Making each melody of an instrument different in isolation but not sound cacophonous all together took several iterations. And making the merge tiers rewarding also took a couple tries.

Good to know it was crackling for you. We had to try and balance the audio buffer size with the lag it produced - reducing the chance of crackling on some browsers (larger buffer) meant a higher chance of the audio being out of sync. Was definitely hard to get right in all circumstance :/

Thanks so much! Our artists worked super hard on the animations, very glad you liked them :)

Glad you liked it! We know the backpack isn’t super useful, it was originally part of some additional work that got moved to yellow light, but it wasn’t hurting anything so we left it in.

Thanks so much!

so glad you liked it!

glad you liked it! The Foxolin is my favorite too :)

thanks so much! The original pitch was definitely inspired by my singing monsters, but we wanted the instruments to get more complex as time went on :)

thanks so much!

yay thank you!

thanks so much! Very happy with how it turned out :)

thanks so much! We had a lot of fun making it. The Foxolin is definitely my favorite, our artist worked really hard on that one :)

Thanks so much! Unfortunately the syncing was indexed very difficult to get right, especially on the web export. The audio streams in godot have a significant amount of lag that make it hard to sync with both the animations and each other at the same time. Was a good learning experience though!

yay thank you!!! Froggy will stop crying eventually, just gotta keep merging . Foxolin is also my favorite :)

thanks so much! So much credit to our animation artist, we love their work too :)

Ya keeping everything in sync was the hardest part. Glad you enjoyed it!

yay! Glad you enjoyed it :)

thanks so much! Having a free-play mode is a fantastic idea ❤️

Seriously great resource management game! I was immediately hooked and spent awhile figuring out the optimal strategy, something that very few games here have required. My only note would be to make the eclipse last a fixed duration, either having all the clouds fly over at once or faster when there are more - it gets a bit tedious to wait for 20+ clouds to fly over one by one. Regardless, this is a fantastic game and you should be proud!

The vibe was correct. The hecticness of shopping and seeing people take stuff off the shelves in a frenzy and sometimes seeing two shoppers ram into each other repeatedly was funny.

I think upping that franticness would make the game really stand out.,

I'm bad at this game LMAO. I liked the challenge, but there was definitely frustration trying to get up after slamming into the plane

This was really fun! I loved the platforming challenges and the game really hit the nail on the head with the "calm before the storm" theme. I had my heartrate racing at the end.

The models of the people and the "arigatou" got my silly energy pumping.

It might've been cool to make the tasks little like among us mini games. The "solving issues" part of the game felt the least engaging.

The art and animation and level of quality of the website it's hosted on are amazing. The vibes were really there.

I was impressed by the game loop and design! The idea is fun and cute.

This is seriously impressive design. The 2D card-slinging feel is awesome and a really neat twist on a Slay The Spire style game. Sometimes a level would fail to complete after defeating all enemies, and I do wish I could see the exact health values of each enemy. Regardless, I really enjoyed this and would 100% buy it as a standalone game. Fantastic art and sound design too!

Loved the modeling and voice lines with the robotic sound effect. Just one note: the ship being slow in the beginning is fine, but having such low drag means that picking up the items takes some getting used to because you kinda just had to time it right. Regardless, I really enjoyed the game!

Gorgeous art! Took a bit of fiddling to figure out the turn-based combat, and I'm still not sure what each of the abilities does which made it hard to strategize. Also, the activity meter seems to be tied to framerate so the boss comes waaay too early on high refresh rate monitors. Regardless, I really loved this concept and enjoyed collecting a bunch of critters :)

Thanks so much!! Really glad you liked it <3

Beautiful art on the main character and backgrounds! However, the attack animation is quite sluggish and as a result doesn't feel very impactful even though it oneshots everything. Also a small detail, but lot of enemies spawn beyond the edges of the play field, get stuck, and can't be killed. Regardless, great job!

Left a rating and some feedback! Awesome submission :)

Here's ours if you wanna try out a chaotic 1v1 fighter: https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-12/rate/2962395

This is a fantastic idea! the movement was quite rough, and having the lanes be controlled by keys made it so facing different directions got really confusing. Otherwise, I loved the graphics and design, especially all the expletives from drivers :)

Lovely pixel art! My only note is that when you click the rice after serving food, it disappears when the next customer arrives - wasn't expecting that.

Masterpiece

This is honestly probably the most correct interpretation of the theme :)

Some suggestions for implementing a sudoku game:

  • Instead of red lines for each 3x3 box, use much thicker black lines. This is the standard in sudoku and makes boxes much easier to discern.  This is especially necessary since changing the resolution can change the thickness of some of the other black lines, which really messes with how you see the 3x3 boxes.
  • You have to make sure that your generated puzzle doesn't have multiple solutions so that each puzzle can be solved properly.
  • As others mentioned, the ability to add notes to cells is a must.
