i'm noting the button remapping, also the game should already be working with a gamepad.
the ui is a bit of a mess and thx for the medals thing i have never seen that haha.
for your question the physics is the same but the car have different power, suspension setups, weight, grip, gear ratio etc... so it can end up feeling quite different :)

For the manual part, i wanted it in even though i could have put an automatic but if you want to try again the advice is to shift up when the sound stops getting higher (it actually starts doing a brpbrpbrp sound from the rev limiter) and to shift down in turns as you slow down.
I also have a few plans for such a starter lap (it would be in Feira de Santana probably)
This explanation will be in the tutorial eventually :p
Hello ! Congrat on your first prototype ^^ It's pretty fun looking for the targets, found 16/21 so far, the esc to quit at the door of the castle is a bit devious lol i thought it would open the door :p
I didn't get the hang of the crouch jumping thing though
(also can you please add zsqd or arrows as alrernative movement options please ? I'm playing on azerty)

I love this game, the art is really cool and you need 2-3 tries to get the rocket going :p If i had one piece of advice, the character controller feels a bit sluggish, maybe you could look into linear interpolations (lerp) to the speed to make it feel a bit more natural :) Can't wait to see the next part !
This really hits, The way the music changes, the way people disappear, the way you slow down over your life, it really is a complete and quite deep experience. If i had one thing to say it is that you can actually run out of things to do and i don't know if it is intended.
During the second playthrough getting old with taylor while knowing he could disappear at any moment was certainly an experience.
