I have no plans to officially add languages other than English. A high quality translation of Lost in You would require a lot of time (and knowing the language). There are community translations, but I can't vouch for the quality of any of them (and in my experience, they usually aren't very good as it's just the game fed through an AI for translation more often than not).

Some bonuses require switching to sandbox in the settings menu if you're playing linear (specifically the ones that require you to solve wordles in your room), but the story ones should all be able to be completed in either mode. There is an unlock code available for $5+ subscribers that I post together with every subscriber release.
It's whatever you prefer, really. Though, the game is very much developed with the sandbox mode in mind, so transitions between events might sometimes feel a bit odd in linear mode. And you can switch between the two modes from settings at any time (especially useful if you start linear and want to check out some of the repeatable sandbox events).
An estimated 33 hours at the moment if you count every word in the game, based on an average reading speed of 130 words per minute. Given it's a VN, I'd say you're probably going to be reading a little slower than that, but you also won't see all 258,000 words in v0.12 in a single playthrough due to dialogue choices and branches, so it evens out.
