Very neat from a design perspective!

Just wish I could save my work for next time!

it's time for me to make a uncomfortable, comedy-themed soulslike game that's set on a beach and is rendered in an isometric style, but the catch is that it changes genre halfway through...

very fun idea and well-executed

Some jam advice: Keep the scope small and resist the urge to add last-minute mechanics (although tempting it will be)

Thank you for taking time to play my game and leave a very thoughtful comment!

I agree with a lot of what you said, especially the shop. It was originally a part of the plan to have one, but I ran out of time to make it work haha.

If you want the best leaderboard time with the least chance of death, you basically ignore shrooms and sober up asap

Very fun game, thanks for making it!

that sucks! I wonder if the jam manager will try your fixed version if you ask.

either way, I would like to try it out when it's fixed :)

Fun game! I like the interaction between the pully and the door :)

Very fun game, wish it kept going! I dig the art direction :)

The game is probably amazing but the dimensions are bugged and caused it to zoom in! Might want to edit your project settings or something

Max slow down made me go backwards lol

Glad you enjoyed!

Thanks for playing :)

Oops! My apologies, I added the .pck file now.

Give it another shot when you get the chance :)

Fun game once I was able to grasp the candle controls; they are a little jank but not too bad

Beautiful art and the candle lighting effects were dope too

Sometimes less is more, and you proved it with Pico-8!

Shame about the Godot troubles, this was my first time using it as well!

Great job anyhow :)

Played as instructed and was super fun!

Great job creating a game despite not being a programmer, that is impressive. I am more of a coder than an artist personally, maybe we can collaborate sometime!

Wow, this was super well done!

Funnily enough, my game has a similar concept to the other-world teleportation, but you took it to the next level!

Great minds think alike :)

One of the best-looking and sounding games in the jam by far!

I wish the gameplay was a little more

The most unique interpretation of the game jam requirements by far! Great job

Fun concept with the candle hiding/revealing aspects of the map!

The ladder controls could be a little smoother

Loved all the cool worlds! Beautiful game

What a stylized masterpiece! Amazing job with the lighting effects and visuals, though some audio would be nice!

Starting sequence is also a tad confusing with the player spawning in the dark.

This was an otherworldly experience! Great job

One of the JRPGs of all time

My first game jam submission and my first game in the Godot engine in general!

I hope you enjoy :)

Fun twist on the classic Google Chrome Dino game!

Could use some UI for when dash is off cooldown

Cool cutscene and neat game idea!

I often found myself dying to the magical wall behind me before setting the flammable world on fire though...

This is pretty good for a first game, nice job!

It would be cool if there was a way to lose

Candle gun is fun! That cover photo is hilarious
