No stress! Games have bugs and you only just put out an update. These things happen. The presentation of your game pushed me to get it working because it's that good!

Hey Yuuzal,

I streamed my playthrough of your game (the video has chapters). Check it out:

Everything about this game is so cool. The characters (Maylee #1!!), the art, the music, the combat, the UI; it's all so good. I didn't get far enough to experience much of the story but you already reveal so much about the characters with their dialogue, abilities and end screen quips. I wish you all the best with the rest of development, keep going because this game is fantastic!

Hey GruelScum,

You were my Gem of the Stream! Check it out:

So cool. So stylish. So sorry I'm bad at it. I think trying to multitask chatting with Nikki was what made it hard too haha so I need to work on those skills. But I really want to play it again and prove to myself that I'm good at the game haha. Really slick game and it was so much fun zipping around and exploring the level. The presentation is fantastic with awesome art direction and the game controls really well too. Can't wait to see what is next from you guys!

Hey Kador,

I streamed my playthrough of your game (the video has chapters). Check it out:

I thought about it as I was playing it but I didn't know how to articulate it: This is the kind of game that becomes a cult classic. Some jank here and there but a lot of passion and cool gameplay ideas. I've been thinking about going back and playing it some more and I think when I get some time I definitely will. It was great to have hatter on the stream but it will be great to experience it on my own. Thanks for sharing this cool as game with me and I hope we can get more people to experience it!

Hey Coco,

I streamed my playthrough of your game (the video has chapters). Check it out:

Excellent work as always my friend! From the concept and story, to the art, animation and music; everything feels good man. While only getting a taste of the battle system, I can see some interesting ideas cooking. Very keen for the full release and I'm waiting to sign the VA Contract (see what I did there?)

Hey The_Jomas,

I streamed my playthrough of your game (the video has chapters). Check it out:

This is a fun and chill incremental game. The neon aesthetic works really well and the game feels polished. It feels like the skill tree is currently built so that you will just end up unlocking every node anyway rather than allowing someone to focus on a particular build they may have in mind. You could see from my playthrough that I just wanted to focus on increasing my damage but eventually had to pick other upgrades in order to progress. That may be the experience you are going for but perhaps is something to consider as you continue to build the game. I enjoyed my time with it and wish you the best with the full release!

Hey hawkwork,

You were my Gem of the Stream! Check it out:

This game is so sick. The art, the music, the gameplay it's all so cool and dripping in 8 bit style. I really appreciate the inclusion of a game manual. It really takes me back to the old days of gaming. I would love to see more ways for the weapons to interact with the environment for more interesting and tactical kills. This may have been a design choice for you not to include it but a wait turn option to allow enemies to move a turn without moving the character themselves would be a nice mechanic. The difficulty seems to be in a pretty good spot with players being rewarded for not just rushing into things. The procedural generation also keeps every run fresh as well as the inclusion of "missions" to give you extra objectives while playing. A fantastic game and you should be very proud of your work! Looking forward to more from you :)

Hey Dnlslade,

I streamed my playthrough of your game (the video has chapters). Check it out:

I was pretty harsh on this one, so I apologize. I like the premise for the story and I like the character art. But I feel a lot of the basic features of a visual novel are not present. No save or load function, the volume setting not working, character art not staying on the screen when characters are talking etc. I feel most of these shortcomings could be resolved if you built the game using Ren'Py. But if you did this to learn how to work in Godot then I commend you for your effort but please get these features working. Keep going and I wish you the best in your game dev journey!

Hey Pigpud,

I streamed my playthrough of your game (the video has chapters). Check it out:

This game looks amazing! Really fantastic pixel art that, even devoid of colour is brimming with personality. The story is interesting and quite unique however the pacing felt a little strange to me. Though it did really build my expectations for what is to come in the rest of the game. I know you had a tutorial character at the start but you also started the game with a prompt on screen of how to control the box sucking thing. So I know you would be capable of adding more of that during gameplay to teach the player as they go. I got stuck fighting the big rat as I didn't know how else to "attack" the enemy other than jumping on it. If there is a button to attack, an on-screen prompt would be great or some other hint as to how to take the big baddy down. I did enjoy my time with the game and it is really well made.

Hey Ariigames,

You were my Gem of the Stream! Check it out:

I really enjoyed the themes of this game and all the dressing to set you up for the reveal. You can tell from my playthrough that I really thought every thing was cutesy and bubbly. A great effort and an interesting perspective of these horrific relationships. Excited to see what you bring out next!

Hey skyeroze,

I streamed my playthrough of your game (the video has chapters). Check it out:

Really enjoyed the themes of this game. Definitely got the philosophical ponderings going! I know I stopped before it really started getting juicy but I hope it will entice people to play the game and find out more for themselves. A really solid intro that makes you want to know more. Great stuff!

Hey Kiwi Dream,

I streamed my playthrough of your game (the video has chapters). Check it out:

You got me with pretty much every jumpscare... so thanks for that haha. I really enjoyed my time with the demo. All the characters look great and it was fun exploring the house. Playing from a child's perspective adds a nice extra layer to the spooks as you feel extra small and helpless. Great work and excited to see the full release!

Hey Bubendo,

I streamed my playthrough of your game (the video has chapters). Check it out:

This game is haaaard, but really really good. While the visuals are overwhelming I really like the style. The music is awesome and helped me keep going after so many deaths. Really great work and keen to see what you come up with next!

Hey Richjie,

You were my Gem of the Stream! Check it out:

I am so bad at this game. But I had a lot of fun playing it! The game is really polished and I liked that you didn't just stick with one movement mechanic. It kept things interesting and difficult haha. Looking forward to your future games!

Hey Batpan,

You were my Gem of the Stream! Check it out:

The atmosphere you've created in your game is perfect for a horror game. The pacing of the story was good and getting to see the full story of these characters was satisfying. I really love the look of this game, the found footage psx aesthetic is pulled off really well. In some ways I wish the game was longer and had more strange things happen that would allude to the main characters past (like the school locker) but as this is your first game the length is fine. Really top work and looking forward to whatever you create next!

Hey NAME,

I streamed my playthrough of your game (the video has chapters). Check it out:

A short and simple experience that I had a fun time with. Everything in the game works well and the house has a pretty creepy atmosphere. The circus music is a nice touch and added a good level of tension to being chased by Harvey. You should definitely expand this game with more floors and perhaps different versions of Harvey. Make the three different characters a little more distinct than just an upgrade in difficulty. Different endings for each difficulty would feel more satisfying too. I really enjoyed playing your game and am keen to see what you come up with in future!

Hey Zala Ropa,

I streamed my playthrough of your game (the video has chapters). Check it out:

Through a comedy of errors (my own) my experience with your game was skewed. Since my playthrough I've been able to see where I was not being thorough enough as a player and was projecting what I thought your game should be instead of enjoying it for what it is. In my next video I will make a little addendum about my rating of your game. That aside, really love the presentation of your game and the atmosphere you've been able to create. The gameplay when understood properly is pretty fun and tense, though I still think the player should be shown the opponents hand before the winner is decided. You've made some bold choices to keep the gameplay interesting and while I don't agree with all of it, I think what you've made is a solid game. I will be jumping back in to see where I went wrong!

Hey Dylan,

You were my Gem of the Stream! Check it out:

I had such an amazing run, it was such a blast! I enjoyed it so much I played a few more rounds during the week and realised how good my luck was during the stream. This game hits all the right beats for some very satisfying risk vs reward gameplay. It is also a very simple premise! But executed well and when you get that magic roll and absolutely destroy the enemy it feels great! Nice to see that you were able to flesh the game out for its full steam release which I am keen to check out. A fantastic game and hope to see more great games from you in the future :)

Hey Funkybnuystudios,

I streamed my playthrough of your game (the video has chapters). Check it out:

There is a lot to this game and I felt I was only getting to scratch the surface. The art is unique and I really like how you draw your characters. The lore behind the main character and his motivations are very interesting, I definitely wanted to know more! I recommend this game to anyone interested in a unique rpg experience. Looking forward to your future projects!

Hey micad,

I streamed my playthrough of your game (the video has chapters). Check it out:

I love a good rage game and this demo was the perfect length to not have me break my keyboard haha. The art is nice and although the music tracks feel a bit different to each other they set a good tone for the gameplay. I am keen to see what else you will do with the full game. All the best with development!

Hey Marvel Beats,

I streamed my playthrough of your game (the video has chapters). Check it out:

This was a lot of fun! I really enjoyed getting better at running the levels with each attempt, finding small ways to improve my time. The way the gun and bullets work is unique and it once I got used to it I found it very satisfying to use. You definitely got me with some of the tricks in the levels and I appreciate their inclusion. Overall I enjoyed my time with this game and am keen to see what you come up with next!

This game is beautiful! I love the minimal design and the UI is gorgeous. It was nice to just sit back and let it do its thing. Everything just worked and I had a very smooth gameplay experience. Thank you for sharing your game and all the best with the full release!

Hey Bob,

I streamed my playthrough of your game (the video has chapters). Check it out:

A great first effort from your team! Thanks for inviting me to your discord where I've provided more feedback. I enjoyed the point mode and I like that you've made each of the three characters unique. Keep working at it and all the best with the full game!

Hey Studio Noble,

You were my Gem of the Stream! Check it out:

What an amazing first game! The variety in gameplay was really impressive to me, especially for a game jam game too. I like the low poly visuals and the lines of the stranger were fairly unsettling. My only issue was that the mouse look in the first person sections kept resetting for some reason? I was able to power through regardless. I especially appreciate the English lessons, we could all use a reminder! Great work and look forward to your future projects!

Hey Worst Event Games,

You were my Gem of the Stream! Check it out:

What a surreal experience!  I love the PSX style you've employed that does a great job of adding another layer to these kinds of games. It kept me on the edge of my seat waiting for the next weird occurrence. I love the voice acting that again adds another unsettling layer to the game. All the best with your future games and hope you continue in this awesome style!

Hey Bop Stick,

I streamed my playthrough of your game (the video has chapters). Check it out:

This is a solid RPG! I only got to make it through the introductory section but it was really well paced with a good amount of variety to help the player understand what is in store for them. The art is nice and the skill building system looks like it would be really fun to experiment with. I can tell you put a lot of effort into the whole thing and hope more people find your game!

Hey Flora22Dev,

I streamed my playthrough of your game (the video has chapters). Check it out:

A great first game! I really enjoyed it, the concept was simple and you had all the pieces necessary for a little horror game. The death cut scene is probably my favourite. Making the monster more aggressive would probably help to ramp up the challenge and tension a bit but I still knew I had to keep moving the whole time. You should be proud of this for a first effort and I really look forward to the games you make next!

Hey Dragon's Den Studios,

You were my Gem of the Stream! Check it out:

I had a lot of fun with your game. The world you've created clearly has a lot of thought and love put into it, when it could have easily just been a lot of food puns (though I greatly appreciate that those are also present). As mentioned in the video any of my criticism really just comes from wanting more (which I would get if I played the full game). Great stuff and look forward to whatever you work on next!

Hey odigietech95,

I streamed my playthrough of your game demo (the video has chapters). Check it out:

Congrats on putting a game together! While the demo was very short I think it showed enough of what the game was about. I mention in the video some ways I think the game could be improved so if you are still putting work into this it would be cool to see those changes! Otherwise I'm keen to see you take what you've learnt from this project and putting it into an even better project. Keep up the game dev!

Hey Nightwolf,

I streamed my playthrough of your game demo (the video has chapters). Check it out:

This was a really cool horror experience that had me freaking out! I only wish I wasn't so bad at figuring out what to do next. The game looks great, though the depth of field effect is a bit funny sometimes. I feel that I didn't get to uncover much of the story but again that came down to me taking forever to get through each stage. I don't play many horror games because I'm such a wuss but I still enjoyed my time with this game. Great work and all the best on your future games :D

Hey Looey,

I streamed my playthrough of your game (the video has chapters). Check it out:

You know how to make a jam game! A quick and easy tutorial and then straight into the action. Everything about this is so very polished, an amazing effort. So much to keep you engaged and entertained while still being a pretty simple gameplay loop strikes just the right balance for a jam game. It's easy to see where the game could be expanded further and all the ideas here are solidly executed. The art is fantastic and the little bit of VA work adds a lot of charm. All the best in the jam and good luck in your future projects!

Hey merrygold,

I streamed my playthrough of your game (the video has chapters). Check it out:

This game is anything but lamezors! The music (especially for the hidden realm) is soooo good. The art is fantastic and the purple and green colour palettes look great. I wish the game could go full screen, I know it won't look as good but at least from an accessibility standpoint it should be an option. Switching between worlds, reading diary notes and placing the mirror just right make this game so much fun. Excellent work and all the best with your future projects!

Hey satilte,

I streamed my playthrough of your game (the video has chapters). Check it out:

This was a very polished experience. The combat while difficult was enjoyable. Looting the very well mapped areas was fun and the presentation of the whole thing is really well done. I wish there was more character development or story woven into the first areas but if combat was the main focus then that's fine. Great work and all the best with the jam and your future projects!

Hey Rubescen,

I streamed my playthrough of your game (the video has chapters). Check it out:

You made being a bureaucrat engaging and interesting! The art style is on point and I enjoyed the dice roll mechanics. Finding and being rewarded with different loot was very exciting and their impact on gameplay felt meaningful. I wasn't able to have a full playthrough but I'm very intrigued by how the different choices would affect the story. Really well done and wish you all the best in the jam and with your future games!

Hey Blaisethebrash,

I streamed my playthrough of your game (the video has chapters). Check it out:

I love the look of this game. The way the different shapes and colours interact with each other is very pleasant to look at. I am pretty bad at these types of games, but I was surprised to see myself do reasonably well with it. The wrong colour match mechanic is an interesting way to change up the gameplay, instead of just always focussing on getting matches. The controls took some getting used to for some reason, perhaps spending some time figuring out a more streamlined control scheme could be an idea. Great work, good luck with the jam and your future game dev!

What a cute little game! I really enjoyed my brief time with it. It would be so cool to see this expanded upon but can appreciate if you want to leave it as is. The art is fantastic and the cleaning mechanic works well. I want more! All the best with your future games :)

Hey David Comsay,

I streamed my playthrough of your game (the video has chapters). Check it out:

While I wasn't able to fully understand the story, I really loved the visuals and sounds for this game. The pixel art is solid and I love the colour choices. To have made this in such a short time is a real feat! Great work and all the best with your future games!

Hey Tome.MMP3,

You were my Gem of the Stream! Check it out:

Well done on creating a solid and interesting game for your thesis. I hope you got a good grade! I enjoyed the "simulator"-esque gameplay with having to read patient files and do activities to help treat them. The wise-cracking fish is a fun character too. The monster looks nice and creepy. I was very curious to see what the story was in regards to my past. I like the era this was set in. I had a great time with your game and hope more people get to play it! All the best with your future games.

Hey Michael Des,

I streamed my playthrough of your game (the video has chapters). Check it out:

I like the low poly graphics and the lighting is pretty good. It would be cool if you could pick up the blocks you put down and perhaps have some kind of hud to tell me how many blocks I'm carrying. I wasn't able to get too far with the limited blocks so I wasn't able to see all of the game. I enjoyed what I played and I like the concept. A bit more polish could make this a real fun puzzle platformer. Best of luck with your future game dev!

I really like your art style and the concept for the puzzles is cool! However, I couldn't even get past the second level. Could be that I missed something but it seemed a bit bugged. If there is something to fix and you can change it after the jam then I think you'd have a fun little game here! All the best with your future projects.
