This game is so sick. The art, the music, the gameplay it's all so cool and dripping in 8 bit style. I really appreciate the inclusion of a game manual. It really takes me back to the old days of gaming. I would love to see more ways for the weapons to interact with the environment for more interesting and tactical kills. This may have been a design choice for you not to include it but a wait turn option to allow enemies to move a turn without moving the character themselves would be a nice mechanic. The difficulty seems to be in a pretty good spot with players being rewarded for not just rushing into things. The procedural generation also keeps every run fresh as well as the inclusion of "missions" to give you extra objectives while playing. A fantastic game and you should be very proud of your work!
