Let the projectiles fly.

The theme for this jam is SHMUPS.

A SHMUP (shoot ’em up) covers a wide range of games. Vertical, horizontal, bullet hell, arcade inspired, or something entirely different. Interpret the theme in your own way and build something fun.

If you want an extra challenge, try pushing your game to render as many projectiles, effects, or enemies on screen as possible while keeping performance stable. Treat it like a personal benchmark, not a requirement.

This was awesome! Got the heart racing a good few times!

Fun game! I think you did a good job with the horror vibe. Hearing a kick sound or seeing a soccer ball just resting in one spot definitely raised the tension.

Took a while to get the hang of the controls but when I did, it was super fun! Great job.

Fun little game, I liked walking around and hanging out in the stands. 

Charming, dynamic, fun to play, easy to get a hang of. This is a start, for me, very well done! 

I cant seem to get it to run? 

This was difficult, but I liked running through the sessions trying to stop that darn ball. Well done!

This was fantastic! The theme was captured well, and environments like steppe lands are mystical and interesting to explore. Well done with the character art and dialogue. And the map was beautifully crafted. Well done!
