Fantastic representation of both theme and object, with some consistent active gameplay too! Really enjoyed the ending, the egg storm was a great idea.

So, with the dial tone and the experiments mentioned at the end... is this top hat man perhaps the man who speaks in hands? Anyways, overall good game. I felt the controls were pretty good and the slow down was definitely helpful. Solid platformer!

Good implementation of the theme, and cool egg sprite! Very polished title screen as well.

Very cute game with very cute eggs, especially the square egg! I like that you chose to incorporate dyed eggs too, haven't seen anyone else do that yet!

I got to 209 on my second attempt. It could use a little more balancing but overall a good time! I like the sound effects too.

Very clear connection to theme and good execution! Only main comment is that the conveyers do get a little ineffective with enough eggs on top of them. Overall solid game!

Definitely fits the theme of automation! The speed at which you can make and sell eggs gets pretty crazy at the end too, although the workers somehow manage to outpace it still. Overall good game!

Very fun few levels! I also think its really interesting that the springs acts both as your movement and the eggs movement, an interesting puzzle crux for sure. Simplistic and effective art style too. A fantastic game for your first project!

Love the sprites for the machines and the funky background track! I will say this game could do with a tutorial although I know that's been mentioned in other comments. I will say however, in case you didn't know, that it does "work" to wind up the machines by spamming the left mouse button instead of holding it.  Somehow I got past 2 machines with only spamming, but I couldn't get much farther. After seeing another reply in which it was explained you have to hold it, I went back and got to 3 fully upgraded machines. Overall nice submission!

I played in browser, I didn’t see the line warning against it till after.

Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Thank you so much for playing and for your feedback! I did plan on adding a click to start text at the beginning but it totally slipped my mind in the final mad dash to submit. I'll probably edit the itch page to include a line about it at some point.

Great game, lots of fun and unique take on the egg special object. The frogs also look so cute in their various abodes. I actually tried to get to 16k but for some reason unknown to me once I hit 15k my small tadpoles started disappearing instead of growing into bigger tadpoles. Still had a good time though.

I like the idea of clicker game for automation, and the game's overall pretty solid. A few glitches I encountered though: my money would almost always go a little into the negatives after I bought something and after getting any amount of automation for eggs they just started going up about every frame. I like the art and animations too though.

The main mechanic of switching to the automations is really unique and interesting! I had a ton of fun with this one and really my only comments are that I wish there were more levels, but it's a game jam of course so that makes sense, and that it could have been a little more connected to the theme.

Fits very well into both the theme and special object, plus egg Roombas was a fantastic idea. I accidentally played not in peaceful mode like the other commenters suggested, and although my run ended by 15 werewolves suddenly showing up and killing me the music did make that moment surprisingly cinematic. Love the soundtrack, especially the night song.

I really like the art style! The music restarts every time you reload a room or progress, which does get a little old, but I like the song itself too.

Overall great little experience and very unique genre choice. There was a good variety of eggs and I liked the puzzles, especially the colored number one. Not sure where the automation comes in but I do like the music playing in the background and I did manage to escape.

I think I've played this entry the most by far and for good reason. The game play loop is surprisingly addicting and it's also very well paced. It did take me a little bit to realize what the coops did, and the auto merge could be a little faster, but overall very solid game.

At the start I accidentally bumped into the truck and it started slowly sliding away from the map so I followed it into the green void. I looked into the green void, and the green void stared back. In all seriousness though I liked the art style and after a little bit of wandering around I managed to pick up some eggs, although I couldn't figure out how to ship them off. Overall fun experience.

There's certainly a solid foundation here. I figured out you could sell eggs through the floating grey square, but I couldn't get the conveyers to actually get them in automatically. The square was too high up. Cool animation on the conveyers though.

Overall very well made and well polished. The background music is fantastic, reminds of the music from persona. Some more drones or egg types could be nice but it's a game jam after all.

Very clear implementation of the special object and overall a fun little experience.

Overall really well made, and with some very specific details like the egg breaking animation. Only real issue is content which is to be expected from a game jam game. Very well done.

I see that this is a work in progress of course, but I enjoyed what's here. I enjoyed your theme explanation as well, especially right after seeing submitted 38 seconds before the deadline... Good job still getting it submitted, I've been here before.

Very small window for the timing, but very unique and great tagline!

This is AMAZING for such a short time. I will agree that there is a very suprising amount of puzzle elements.

Solid connection to theme, although the blood didn't seem to physically flow from the heart to each location after the first time.

Love the TURTLES! Also the bossfight looks cool, although its health doesn't seem to reset after dying?

Good time and good game. Controls are well done, but the screen is a little too choatic while punching at full flow.

I felt a pretty large difficulty increase from level 3 to level 4, although very unique concept, and good execution!

Great game! Well executed for the time. Would play more levels if they were added.

Very nice and simple game that gets progressively harder at a good speed! Kind of like a simple bullet hell pack-man.

Well made good game! The tutorial was also a nice touch. It would be nice if the score counter sped up after a while, so you didn't have to sit through every point being counted. Just a small nitpick though.

Nice little endless card game! I really like the enemy art.

(1 edit)

Great game! The controls are jank enough to be interesting, but I know that if someone spent enough time with it they could get the bear to do exactly what they wanted.

Really nice way of using mutation in a card game! The dragon unit was also quite the pleasent suprise.

What an amazing game for mutation! Only problem I had is that, like someone else I saw comment, I experienced some pretty large frame drops towards the end. The music was also great, fit the game really well!

I liked the slimpicity of the controls (or really control I suppose) compared with the hectic gameplay. Good job!

Nice simple game! I like the idea of each upgrade for upgrading something for the enemies as well.
