Wow, this is an incredibly polished game! Great job!

This game is so cute! The animations on the chinchillas are so adorable and realistic (impressive, considering it's pixel art). The slight color change on the header as the chef is about to come out is a really great UX touch. I didn't even notice at first, I just realized I could somehow tell when they were coming. The game did get too hard for me around level 5 (playing as Fourrure, if that makes a difference). Very nice game!
Yay I did it! time: 5:34
This was a really solid implementation of the theme and wildcard you used. The 3d world looked great, and everything worked really smoothly even in the browser. I liked the little bit of puzzle solving and that the lasers weren't too hard (I did die the first time but that's on me forgetting about crouch T_T)
The game seems pretty polished and has a lot of cool ideas, but for the life of me I couldn't find a way to start the minigame for opening the door. The minigames are really well done and the heat concept adds a neat extra dimension, but I couldn't get out of the first room. Oh, and I really like the way the roll animation looks :)
This is a very cool and stylish looking (and sounding!) game. I ran into a possible bug after stealing where it seemed like it stopped accepting any input, but I was able to finish on my second play through. I just wish there was a way to see the definitions for the abilities after selecting them at the beginning (maybe there is and I missed it).
Great job!
PS love the pun of the title
Thank you!! Excellent question, re: one car in the parking lot. I have a few theories, and yours is definitely a welcome addition:
- The carny might live there
- I have a stretch goal of adding a bike rack with a unicycle, which would give both of you conveyance (very plausible, since it adds more ones of things)
- the player is a ghost? No other signs point to this, but I can't rule it out
- employee parking is elsewhere
- player and carny carpooled - Thanks again!
The bug where the goblin gets stuck in corners gave us such a headache that we redid the levels to have fewer corners! If we ever revive this project, redoing collision would probably be the first thing, but there wasn't time during the jam.
Like drak said, you should be able to hit escape and select restart to just start that level over.
Thanks for playing!
The ambition! The audacity!
I picked this up too late, so I only saw one other player (who fled from me!). All I could really do was kill mobs, and I eventually started losing health every couple of seconds, which I didn't expect? I assumed the thing in the bottom right was a mini map, but it didn't show anything useful (like the way back to the portal).
BUT I was on the internet!
