Thank you ill keep adding stuff

Added a couple new changes, im still working on a way to add units back let me know what you think

Depends on how cruel i want it to be, i was thinking about just giving the player the option to  buy new characters from the shop.
Resurrecting characters means they come back with all their resources so its less painful.
Ill try a couple different options.
An item that lets you survive one attack
Buying new guys

Or a class that can use a resurrect ability, so if they die you cant do it anymore

Added a way to see information on current enemies and added extra clarity to the "white" girl, let me know what you think

Thats a good idea, the game is lacking a lot when it comes to visual clarity I'll see if I can set somthing up

Updated, let me know what you think!

Thanks for the response! I'm releasing a patch today to address the scaling problem, give me roughly an hour. Different environments is also a good idea but will have to be done tomorrow

Added some changes  if you have the time i'd love to hear more feedback, for example things that ruined the flow of the game anything, no matter how minor be harsh :)

Perhaps even potential ideas.

I want to get the game into a state where even the simplest parts of it are enjoyable before I add more content

I appreciate the response, i'll make sure theres a more present gold ui.

Come and check it out, perhaps give me some suggestions?

Lots of people are making desktop games right now, help me make the best one :)

Thanks for letting me know ive added it!

Cute art and I love the relaxing gameplay.
Overall good job!

Thank you for the criticism,
I've implemented them in the newest patch, the time is way more forgiving and also the pictures change each time :)

+ The music was fitting and the art is very cute,  I absolutley love the UI used in the game.

+ Included a save and load system which is not exactly vital to this game but still appreciated

- Did not initally understand how the game was played could have been bettter with some short instructions

7.5/10

Yeah I went a bit overboared, originally the AI art was a lot more garish and conflicting but with a little bit of color coordination it worked.
The story itself was at one point completly AI generated but it bugged me so I changed it to make more sense.

If I don't do well in the jam thats alright :)

You really captured the corporate cynicism really well and I enjoy the consistent world and character building, only problem was I got lost easily.

The fatality screen for the paddle was really well done, also getting this to work on SMS is very nice.

Got 575, annoying the tortoises using sound waves is unique, would be interesting to see a mechanic like this get expanded on.

I like the idea of getting hit as much as possible it threw me off when I did not die for getting hit and was pleasantly suprising.

I also like the art.

I'm glad you like it :)

Very soulful, I like the art and the narrator, really made me invested in making sure the tortoise had a nice sleep.

Sure thing! Thank you :)

Thank you, I did make the art by myself.
I agree the added vocal confirmation would be nice

Really nice that you put the time to create a cool menu, The gameplay was also deceptivley challenging

Did you make the art yourself? Its pretty solid pixel art

I really like the level of polish in this game, your really talented with 3D asset creation.

ngl did not put as much time into it as I should have, are there any things specifically you dont like

The music was really calming did you make it yourself?
