The big bad is a Tortoise, speak poorly of him and we will not be happy.

Any additional information for voters?
Used a lot of dalle/ai generated art

This was really cool! For my first playthrough, I went for the standard "Dad who wants her daughter to die" run, and achieved my goals perfectly! Later on, I tried  to actually help my daughter, Shit For Brains, and that didn't go so well lol 😅

I think this entry has so much going for it! Using DALL-E art is a very neat idea, and something that has only really been made possible for this year's SBIGJam! The dialogue is great, and the story is short enough where you can easily replay it many many time! Overall v solid! Well done for submitting!

I, for one, welcome our tortoise overlords.

Seriously, though, if the big bad hadn't been a tortoise, this game wouldn't even be that SBIG. This way, though, it kept being absurd enough to be enjoyable, even if maybe a little too good for the jam.

I liked this one despite not generally liking dark/bleak games, but it doesn't really feel like a so-bad-it's-good game at all. It's not perfect- it's a little janky and the story meanders a bit- but it feels like an artful very small indie game more than anything. The art may be AI generated but fits the game too well. It doesn't really have the nebulous goodbadness that defines a so bad it's good game.

Yeah I went a bit overboared, originally the AI art was a lot more garish and conflicting but with a little bit of color coordination it worked.
The story itself was at one point completly AI generated but it bugged me so I changed it to make more sense.

If I don't do well in the jam thats alright :)

I'm glad you like it :)

Sorry to bother you, but would it be possible for you to click on the ‘enable fullscreen button’ in the ‘edit page’ menu for your game and/or produce a desktop build for your game?

I’m encountering a slight issue playing the game on my browser (the viewport is a bit too big to fit in the browser window, and the scrollbars that appear in the viewport are less than ideal), but if you were to click on the ‘enable fullscreen button’ in the ‘edit game’ menu for your game, it might make it a bit more accessible. And/or edit the setting for the game viewport size in the ‘edit game’ menu so the game viewport won’t have any scrollbars appearing inside it.

Anywho, interesting way of factoring in the modifier.

Sure thing! Thank you :)
