Hello!
This is a weird place to make such a request, but I couldn't find any contact details - I'm an academic, and an academic friend of mine is mighty interested in Depths of Fear for a paper he's writing. Any idea when the game might be available again on Steam, or if there's any alternative method of purchasing it?
Very best to you!

There's also a collection of papers in the same series, which I'm also in!
self-promotion, over
I'm following up on this here request, as I would like your consent to use screenshots of Melos in a forthcoming book about ancient history and videogames.
I can confirm that I've spoken to other creators on the itch.io platform and received their consent - its the real deal, and it won't cost anything :)
Cheers,
Ross
Hello!
My name's Ross, I'm a researcher over at the University of Liverpool, UK, and I'm contracted to produce a book on the use of ancient Greece and Rome in videogames.
I hope its alright, but I've played and studies the Melos game in a case-study analysis for the book.
To support the analysis of Melos, I've also manually taken screenshots. I therefore required your permission to use those screenshots in the book. May I request your consent to use those images I've prepared in the forthcoming publication?
I'm afraid I don't have a social media presence, but I can trade email addresses if you need further information on the forthcoming book itself.
Thank you for the game, by the way - its a truly unique take on Archaic Greece and (as your fans below state) a genuinely emotional experience!
Very best,
Ross
Hello!
My name's Ross, I'm a researcher at the University of Liverpool, UK, and I'm contracted by Bloomsbury Academic to produce a book all about the use of ancient Greece and Rome in videogames.
I hope its acceptable to you that I played and analysed your game (along with Skarn's Melos) as a case study in the book.
As well as letting you know my intentions, this is also a request for your permission to use images from the game in the publication. I manually took screenshots and use images from the game to support the analysis, and require your consent to use them in the book.
I'm afraid I don't have any real social media presence, but I can trade email addresses if you'd like further information (the book's release date, ISBN number etc.) or have any questions.
I greatly enjoyed the game, by the way, and really, sincerely appreciated your thoughtful take on the Helen of Troy character :)
Very best,
Ross
