Thank you, dicey! I am very impressed with your submission. I think this is a clever way of handling a solo game. Like sci-fi CLUE but with dice

Don't worry, there are no obligation to join the server or make a discord account. I just wanted to make sure you were informed. Just be sure to let me know when you update Stasis. We like to do little write ups for the submissions on the server. Good luck!

Hello Diceyvim! I am a mod from the Week Sauce jam discord server. I'm not sure if you are on the server so thought I would reach out to you here. If you would like to continue working on Stasis, we support it! Sometimes a project takes a little longer than 7 days. A playable project is more important than a perfect project, or concrete deadlines. Look forward to being able to play your solo ttrpg!

So close to having a near perfect run! I could definitely see this game being expanded on. With its solid foundation, new enemy types, projectiles, and environments would fit well. All around, a good example of what Week Sauce games can be.

The alien's music is still the best jam! I enjoyed replaying a beloved if not stress inducing kirby minigame in a new environment. I especially enjoyed the increasingly larger, absurd bosses! Having the loading screen before the reveal is very effective. Each time, I feared the worst! I only lost once, however. Still got it!

My high score was 462! WOW. That was more intense than I was expecting. This game once more proves that rabbits cannot be trusted! I loved how things can get out of hand very quickly. Like how the bag, after destroying the jumpscare rabbit, just keeps spawning blue bunnies rapidly! Overall, a welcome addition to the Week Sauce library!

Something I noticed is, in the web version atleast, it seemed inconsistent which target would get destroyed first when several would be lined up vertically. It seemed to prioritize the targets farther back than those closer? Not sure.

My high score was 7450! It took me a bit to get used to the thrusters and even then I was flying! Honestly, all my death's were caused by me flinging myself into the unknown and slamming into an asteroid haha. Despite that, I enjoyed the movement. On a bigger map, I would obsess over the perfect fast spins and drifts. Asteroid Racing game, anyone?

My highscore was 50! I should not be allowed to be anyone's matchmaker. With the timer breathing down my neck, I did made some hasty pairings. I hope they will forgive me one day!

The only game where you can upgrade your gun whacking speed to better smack cowboy moles! A great Week Sauce entry! Very inspiring and fun. I refuse to admit what my high score was but let's just say, I should consider the mole hunting business

Clean, efficient, smooth. I loved Sammy's addition with the music, I think it paired well with the geometric graphics and the purpose of the game. It gave the game a cyberpunk spaceship fight in the airducts vibe to it! What I also appreciated was the destructive environments. In an intense player vs. player game, taking away people's ability to hide around the columns makes the playfield feel dynamic.

Very smooth! Moving and placing cards felt good. And the hands of cards looked good, well rendered. My only complaint is that when the opponent plays their card, it is quick and it would take me a moment to realize it was my turn.

My highscore is 26! I liked the stress of the lava chasing while trying to maneuver through the rooms and obstacles. It really gave incentive to move efficiently and dispatch enemies quickly.

My high score was 2956! This was such a nice game, felt well polished.

Definitely could use more reverse space invaders in my life. If this was a minigame in a bigger game, I doubt I would get much done in the main game

The visual polish on this game is great! The tutorial was a little confusing as I would lose the game while trying to read the prompts and then be trapped since neither the tutorial nor the end game page could continue forward

Ricocheting fish around a room is something I didn't know I needed in my life

Murdered a bunch of marine life, shot a bird midair, died by falling poop. Still haven't found my house keys.

Feesh! I made it to level 3 and couldn't make it passed the spike pit at the top.  I enjoyed it, trying to balance the water mechanic alongside the dangerous platforming. Easy to play even if it isn't easy.

I appreciate a fishing minigame that doesn't require button mashing. The minigame is simple and smooth. I could see you improving upon it and juicing it up for your future game. For this game jam, however, I think you could have done without the walking around segment and just jumped straight into fishing.

I like this game, put it is hard to put into words why. Yes, it is simple. But it is so... affectionate. The choice of music, the looping nature, the little comments. It feels like making dinner, waiting for your loved one to come home. An excellent use of Bitsy.  Would make dinner again

Thank you! That is truly the spirit of the game. Lighthearted fun and silly drawings haha

No, and I don't think I would have been able to implement something like that even if I had the time. I can only imagine how difficult it would be to try to have the game analyze what players drew

The DS aesthetic is so cool! Very nostalgic. I especially enjoyed how you can make the puffer fish hover and their animation for it is so cute! This minigame would be right at home in a kirby game, I think.

Even though I usually use gamepads, the game  was forgiving enough that I picked up the controls. I enjoyed trying to deal with the flying enemies along with the grounded enemies. A good next step could be having different attack patterns for the enemies to keep the player on their toes. Like the flying enemies randomly flying upward or downward to make targeting them difficult

I can't believe I'm saying this about a golf game but I could definitely become addicted to this! the presentation is just so pleasantly functional. Would play this on my phone while procrastinating 5/5

I liked the geometric shapes! I think you can use that to your advantage. Maybe different shapes are associated with types of weaknesses.  A limitation is just an opportunityto be creative.

A mobile port was something Ethan and I discussed early on in the game jam but in the end we focused only on desktop browser. In the upcoming post- bara jam version, we will definitely try to keep mobile users in mind! Thank you for your recommendation!
