As of 02-07-2026, the game feels more like an early foundation with a lot of ideas planned for the future than a fully developed experience.
A few thoughts:
- The contrast between the very simple HTML-style presentation and the inclusion of voice acting felt jarring and took some getting used to.
- The terminal system seems interesting, though at the moment it feels a little underused since I only found one command. I imagine future updates may expand on this.
- There seems to be an ARG element hidden within the game. I was unable to solve it (assuming it was solvable in this current state), though it does make me curious about what else is hidden.
Not much enjoyment was derived from the game in its current state, but I can see the ideas it seems to be aiming for. I also found the reverse-engineering side of things interesting personally, although the game does mention that code diving should not be necessary, so I am still unsure how players are intended to discover some of the deeper content naturally.
Cool game methink. Played :)
Bit laggy on the browser, perhaps a downloadable version would be nice.
I see great potentional for a mobile port, if the process is painless, I'd love to play it on my phone.
Praise:
- I LOVE minimalist graphic style. Rabidly so, so yknow, +2
- The control is intuitive.
- Great improvement from the last game you've made. Well done.
Personal suggestion:
- Given a game with movement relies heavily on acceleration like this, I believe making the player shoot rapidly in a small duration (like a burst fire) is a lot more enjoyable than the current constant-firerate.
Thank you for your feedback! I'm completely onboard with the pushable box tbh. It was poorly implemented and I was very stubborn to just throw it out.
As for the dancing purple boi, please do not worry, they just get poke a bit and cry. Still hurts, but they should be fine ^^
Have a good day dude. Appreciate your review a lot :)
Pretty fun game conceptually speaking, I can see it expand into a polished one, here's my annoyance:
- Enemy move really fast, this can work for when player know what they are doing, but early on it's frustrating
- Enemy's chase path is unpredictable, obviously it will try to move toward you, but the way they choose it or the way they steer isn't obvious, so sometime I just hug the wall and pray they don't steer directly toward me. Especially with how sometime the path break into multiple curve, sometime it's a circle, and it's not too obvious which is when
- Enemy's hurtbox is exactly to the sprite. This make sense to do, but for a singleplayer game, thing should be more permissible for the player's enjoyment.
- Jump isn't high enough and you switch to climbing instead.
Yea that's all
The font is pretty standard I think, I got it on google font but it has number and "_" in its name so idk what it's called exactly... As for sounds and music, it's made by ItsPoofy: https://itspoofy.carrd.co/
Tysm for your word! ItsPoofy is the one who made the music, you can see his work here: https://itspoofy.carrd.co/
