THERE I AM, GARY! THERE I AM!

This game is truly remarkable! The often surrealist collages on the light brown newspaper create a wonderful visual aesthetic that goes hand-in-hand with the spectacular background music. Of course, this game's true strength lies within the near-flawless execution of its absolutely bonkers premise. Seriously, you could not imagine how hard I laughed after seeing just how absurd these headlines were capable of being while still remaining valid. The subheadings are what really do it for me, turning headlines that might otherwise sound forced into fully-realized, gloriously nonsensical situations, making this one of the funniest games I've ever played in the process. Not every interpretation could be transformed into an actual headline though, for obvious reasons. However, even when the illustrator couldn't reasonably interpret my gibberish titles, seeing his utter confusion in the form of a ransom note was still very amusing.

In short, this game is in a league of its ownand I have no doubt in my mind that it will be selected as one of the winners for this game jamI genuinely hope to see moreconsidering the fact that this game already excels at so much! 10/10

Really fun game, honestly feels reminiscent of the Geometry Dash title screen!

shoulda been called Trigonometry Dash smh

Wow, if I had a nickel for every time I played a highly-polished puzzle game about manipulating an AFK player from inside the walls of the level, I'd have two nickels, which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice.

But in all seriousness, both this game and A.F.K. protocol are incredible!

This game is amazing! The premise is extremely clever, the art style are super polished, and the writing is top-tier! I love how every single description feels like its own story, not only is it super cute, but it also makes it more satisfying when you realize what you're actually drawing (that camping-themed level was especially clever). I genuinely hope to see this get expanded into a full game after the jam!

Interesting concept, but the actual process of building another robot was pretty slow. I loved the idea of having multiple types of robots that could be built, though!

As a fellow first-time jammer, I'd say that the difficulty curve is somewhat reasonable, albeit a little flat. An admittedly large portion of the earlier levels felt like they basically played themselves, though I can see this becoming less of a problem as development continues. The final level was definitely the high point of the game for me, mainly because of how it took familiar mechanics (namely the "exit level" card and the inverted S card) and explored them further. I would love to see some of the other mechanics fleshed out in much the same way, specifically the reversed jump card and the normal S card. I found a glitch involving the normal S card that allowed me to clip through regular floors, but I could imagine that being turned into an actual game mechanic with some mild tweaking ;) I also wonder if maybe placing a limit on the number of times certain mechanics can be used in some levels might allow for more interesting puzzles. I hope this helps, and I wish you good luck on your game development journey!

Me, 0.029 seconds after reading the title of this game:

Four a self-proclaimed amature regarding game jams, you're game shore does have alot of efffort put in to it. The idea of halving to mispell words on porpoise is truely ingenius, and your excecution of this concept led to an experiance that was not only humorus, but educational! It seriously did'nt occurr to me that the word "raspberry" has a "p" in it untill I played this game. 10/10, wood defiantly reccomend this game too my freinds!

I absolutely adore this game's presentation! The art style is gorgeous, particularly in regards to the menu and the UI, but also the 3d models! The music is also phenomenal, despite the occasional audio glitch (the main menu theme doesn't loop properly).

However, this game is sorely lacking in the challenge department. The ninjas all have predictable AI, they are extremely noticeable, and there are only three of them (one of which consistently gets stuck on a tree)! Outside of the times where I intentionally ignored the ninjas in order to admire the scenery, I found it impossible to lose.

With all that said, I would love to see this game developed further. Turn the ninjas into a genuine threat, one with multiple ways of sneaking around you. Provide an actual gameplay reason to explore the environment, maybe by giving the player multiple points to defend? This game has immense potential, and that potential deserves to be fulfilled.

Super creative mechanic! I really like your interpretations of some of the "reversed" mechanics, especially in that final level. The camera could've been a little bigger, though. All in all, great start!

Excellent game with solid puzzles and a stellar music choice. The difficulty was surprisingly fair, considering what it's based on.

The story, the writing, and the voice acting are all just... magnifique! I especially love what you did with the fan's voice, where it sounds like someone is actually talking through a fan.

Admittedly, I did encounter a number of bugs during my playthrough (unresponsive block-placing, mismatched text/voice acting, messed-up formatting while not in full screen, etc.). That said, considering the game's premise, I couldn't help but see this jankiness as one big meta-joke. I don't care if it was intentional or not, it just fits.

I'm also a huge fan of the music! Definitely reminds me of the Figment soundtrack by Bedtime Digital Games.

All in all, *chef's kiss*/10

That sounds absolutely terrifying, I love it

heck yeah

My favorite game from this jam so far, I would not be surprised if this ends up in the top 20.

Pretty much everything about this game is excellent, from the mechanics to the presentation. I especially love the way that this game encourages the use of unintended solutions!

Fun game with an absolutely brilliant concept! I did unfortunately experience a little bit of lag while playing, but other than that, 10/10.

I didn't actually cheat, but I did discover how it was possible to cheat.

By right-clicking the game and hitting "inspect", you can view the source code for this webpage. After a little searching, you can find the source code for the game itself. It is somewhat messy, but you can still make out the level layouts.
