I quite enjoyed this one. A unique idea that took me a good 10 tries to get. There is an exploration and an execution element to it, which I like.
The jumping could have felt a bit smoother. Especially with the darkness and when trying to look down in order to avoid looking at ones future self... past self? ... future selfes looking at the current self?
Ideally I would have liked it if strategic choices such as strategic stalling would have been more relevant. But at least for the last section strategic routing worked really well and the rest was timing the path back right, which was quite exhilarating.
Nice work altogether, very fun =)
Nice idea! It reminds me a level in rayman where you have to escape from your shadow! Creepy athmosphere in the docks...good work!
A little buggy, but very creative concept. One think I would add is either some kind of end goal or point system, to show how long you have survived. Good work!
Very fun and unique idea. felt so cool when i'd just about squeeze past my future self. Deserves more ratings!
I love the idea of running away from your past selves XD and the map is well designed too,
As a piece of feedback, I would say it would be nice if you had clearer progression, or if there was some visual storytelling aspect to these enemies being your past selves. But good job overall!
If you can find the time, would you please check out our game as well?
Our twist of the theme is that a critic tries to play your unfinished game, and you fight from inside the computer to make him like it. Hope you'll like it!
Great concept! I love the idea of trying to plan your steps in a way that will cause the least headaches for you in the future. Would love to see it fleshed out, maybe a coop multiplayer where you have multiple players all trying to not cross paths?
That sounds absolutely terrifying, I love it
this game has a great atmosphere, looks like slenderman or smth. The concept is also good, it's like level 2 of celeste where your alter ego chases you and you have to strategize around that. i wish the level design was less linear to make it easier, otherwise this is a good start
