You should not have to pay twice for the same version. Only some publishers are permitted to host files larger than 1GB on itch.io. That is why I had to go with MEGA. And MEGA will not pay back me for the money you paid them. They kept everything to themselves.
In that scenario, I recommend that you manually copy saved files to another location on your phone and uninstall 1.18. You can then install 1.19. That typically occurs when you swap from one port to another. Don't worry, it can be resolved. You can copy/paste the old saved file back to the exact same location after installing 1.19.
