I totally should have, will patch in post jam build

Also you can get the opening text to stay up if you press space too fas

I found a bug where talking to the chief softlocks the gam

Pretty interesting concept, I couldn't get past the jump with the moving platform and the sign that reminds you how to run, but I suck at 3d platformers. The audio got on my nerves after a bit, but it wasn't too bad. Overall, it was a pretty fun game.

I really liked the game overall, the tutorials were sometimes unclear, but when I eventually figured the mechanics out it was quite interesting. I love the artstyle, and the story seems reasonably engaging as well. Good job.

Nice game, very difficult. I wish there was a bit more explanation on certain mechanics, like what the purple dudes do.

Definitely a very interesting concept, though it's really buggy and even with the upgrades going for a million pins is pretty tedious. Even with those flaws, it's still a fun game.

I saw a lot of people complaining about the difficulty, but this actually felt really easy to me. Fun concept

It's a very unique concept, but I felt like the best move was pretty much always to reduce enemy attack damage and lots of the fights felt very similar.

The second, once I got to the desktop I had a lot of files but couldn't do anything with the

Pretty fun puzzle platformer, I'm glad to see that someone used the obvious pun, it was really easy apart from the last level, which was kind of frustrating.

Very fun and unique concept, but the puzzles were fairly easy, and I feel like a lot of the mechanics were confusing and there were just a few too many elements that felt too similar to each other. I think this has a lot of potential if you ever choose to come back to this idea. Overall, it was pretty fun to play.

It didn't work at all for me, which is sad because it looked like a really interesting concept

This game is so annoying and unfair, I can barely see anything through the constant blur, and the only way to get rid of said blur is to give the screen an even worse filter, the timers are absurdly short and coffee doesn't help much, if at all. You could use this "game" as an actual torture device.

10/10 good papers please clone

Thanks for the feedback, I'll keep that in mind for the post jam build

It's literally impossible to lose the first level, I think the thing you missed is that Norman is supposed to die, your goal isn't to make him win, but to make him lose close to specific point in time. You lose when you don't have enough money to make a bet. I hope this made sense, sorry for the confusion and thanks for playing.

Hm I wonder who you are, also no I didn't what are you talking about

I didn't playtest this that much before the jam, and after my playthrough - holy crap it's really hard (I was kind of going for that, but wow)

(1 edit)

Very well made game, I loved the aesthetic and the interesting levels. the platforming down a cube level gave me a bit of trouble because I didn't realize I could dash in midair.

By the way, the sun vanishes if you look at it.

ROCKS ROCKS ROCKS ROCKS ROCKS ROCKS

I'm glad you liked the minigame I coded in about 5 minutes. I probably should have made the arena a bit smaller and zoomed in more, but by the time I realized that I had already made 10 levels using that arena.

Thanks for playing. As it turns out I broke the tutorial literally right before I made all the builds lol. I wasn't planning on doing a post jam build but now I might just because of that.

Thank you so much. I'm glad the mechanics weren't too difficult to figure out, that was actually one of the things I was most concerned about.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. If I ever do a post jam build of this, I'll include an option to turn the dialogue sounds off.

Comerade, how many atoms are in our reactor?

It's a fun arcade style game, the reviews were pretty funny

Probably one of the more confusing games I've played during this jam. Even after tutorials, I had no idea what the heck I was supposed to be doing or how the mechanics worked.

Fun game.

Quite fun, sometimes annoying, a little hard to control, but it's pretty solid.

That ending is hilarious, that or it's a bug, honestly I can't tell, are you supposed to get fired if you fix everything?

It's a simple puzzle game, but one with surprising depth (apart from the fact that it is literally one dimensional).  I think the patrols need better telegraphing but that's pretty much my only complaint. I bet there are some really interesting concepts you could have explored. The visual style, while also simple, is also really good and helps make this game feel unique.

Pretty good concept, and it feels very immersive. The game was a bit too easy in my opinion, and I honestly don't think I would have died if I did literally nothing, some of the gameplay does feel a little bit like you're just doing chores because of that. I do think this could be a really good game if there was just a bit more effort put into the core loop.

This game seems like it has a lot of potential, and I would love to see a full release. I think it mostly needs more content and more synergies. The input method feels a bit clunky, but I can't think of a better way to do it. As it stands, this is a fun little balatro style timewaster, good for a quick 15 minute run. The other thing that could be improved is the difficulty curve, which at present is quite steep and requires both good luck and fast typing to get past the first few levels.

Nice job, it's actually quite fun to play for such a simple concept

How do people make stuff this good during a game jam? If you ever update it, I have only one piece of feedback: please make the hint robots change color when you read them and/or let us see all unlocked hints in one place. Other than that, amazing job.

I won by pushing rocks with the lawnmower but not putting them on top of it, allowing me to (eventually, after much resetting) knock over the table and push the pie

Good job, you convinced me to stop procrastinating by playing jam games and actually do the things I'm supposed to

Really fun game, but it's hard. For the steam release, please consider giving the player a few seconds to get their loadout together.

I haven't played it yet, but it looks like a great game and I find it hillarious that someone actually made a game to be played IRL

There's only one bad thing about this game: it needs more levels, please make a full release

One of the best games so far, the feeling of detaching three limbs and flipping your robot over is amazing. Definitely worth a try.
