YOOO

We’re a small indie team wrapping up development on a narrative-driven visual novel/text-based game—and we’re almost at the testing phase.

What we’re still missing? Backgrounds and CGs. That’s where you come in.

We’re looking to pay for:

  • CG Artist

If you’re a professional, awesome. If you’re a passionate hobbyist who just loves storytelling and wants to be part of something weird and heartfelt, we’d love to talk too.

Why join us? We’re practical. We know our limits, we work within our means, and we don’t chase pipe dreams. But we do take our story seriously—funny, strange, a little emotional, and full of visual potential. We’ve polished the script with help from professionals, and now we’re gearing up to bring it to life.

DM me on Discord if you want to see samples or learn more: 1gil_

One-liner pitch: “One day, the protagonist wakes up to find that most people now appear as animals to him. Through this strange new lens, a socially awkward loner stumbles into warm, funny, and unexpected human connections—until he meets a stranger holding a turkey (person) leg.”

Hey! We’re a small indie team working on a narrative-driven visual novel/text-based game.

What we don’t have are backgrounds and CGs. That’s where you come in!

We’re currently looking to pay for:

  • Background Artist
  • CG Artist

That said, if you're someone who just genuinely loves storytelling and wants to collaborate for fun, we’d love to hear from you too. We’re open to both pros and passionate hobbyists.

Why join us? We’re practical folks who know our limits, work within our means, and aren’t here to chase unrealistic dreams. Our strength is in the writing, and we’re serious about creating something heartfelt, funny, and visually memorable.

We’re a small indie team working on a narrative-driven visual novel/text-based game. So far, we’ve got a half-baked plan, a carefully crafted script that we’re constantly polishing, and—well—half an artist (because the story involves furries and I can only draw humans).

We’re admittedly lacking in a few other areas, but the script is something we’ve taken seriously—it’s been through multiple drafts with input from professionals. Our goal is to create a story-centric game with a strong visual identity. We’re currently looking with pay for:

    •    A programmer/developer (who knows how to craft text based games and a tiny chat simulator like the one in Error 143)

    •    An artist whose style leans more realistic and who can draw furry characters (I have some style reference)

That said, if you’re also someone who’s passionate and wants to join this scrappy little crew and make something cool just for the love of it, we’d love to have you too.

Our strengths? We know our limitations, we’re practical thinkers, and we don’t chase pipe dreams we can’t afford. We’re hoping to find collaborators with a similar grounded mindset.

If you’re curious and want more details, please DM me!

Hi! I’m a writer currently pursuing my MFA at a top 1% university (if that matters), and I specialize in longform storytelling and worldbuilding. I’m actively looking for a team — or even just a couple of passionate folks — who are interested in game development and committed to seeing a project through to completion.

My main goal is to bring some of my original characters and stories to life in an interactive format, particularly through a visual novel or narrative-focused game. But I’m also more than happy to join an existing project that needs a writer — whether that means fleshing out your world, developing character arcs, or writing dialogue and in-game text. Ultimately, I’m hoping to build something cool with people who care, and have a finished project to add to my resume so I don’t starve after graduation.

Genres I write most often include fantasy, light sci-fi, dark humor/sarcasm, and thriller. I enjoy writing flawed, emotionally complex characters, and I’m flexible depending on the tone of your project. Whether you already have an idea and need a writer to help realize it, or you’re interested in building something from scratch with a writer on board from day one

Ideally looking for developers (Ren'Py, Unity, RPG Maker, etc.) and artists who want to collaborate on a visual novel or narrative game — but I’m also open to other story-driven projects that need a writer.

Let’s make something awesome together!
