We’re a small indie team working on a narrative-driven visual novel/text-based game. So far, we’ve got a half-baked plan, a carefully crafted script that we’re constantly polishing, and—well—half an artist (because the story involves furries and I can only draw humans).
We’re admittedly lacking in a few other areas, but the script is something we’ve taken seriously—it’s been through multiple drafts with input from professionals. Our goal is to create a story-centric game with a strong visual identity. We’re currently looking with pay for:
• A programmer/developer (who knows how to craft text based games and a tiny chat simulator like the one in Error 143)
• An artist whose style leans more realistic and who can draw furry characters (I have some style reference)
That said, if you’re also someone who’s passionate and wants to join this scrappy little crew and make something cool just for the love of it, we’d love to have you too.
Our strengths? We know our limitations, we’re practical thinkers, and we don’t chase pipe dreams we can’t afford. We’re hoping to find collaborators with a similar grounded mindset.
If you’re curious and want more details, please DM me!
The story in one line:
“One day, the protagonist wakes up to find that most people now appear as animals to him. Through this strange new lens on life, this socially awkward loner stumbles into unexpectedly warm and humorous connections with the people around him—until one day, he meets a stranger holding a turkey (person) leg.”
