I suggest you read more of HP Lovecraft's book or play any call of cathulu game to immerse yourself in the lovecraftian lore to understand the name. its not even a slur when it already exist in the book. No need to change something that is already exist for a long time. if dev change Shub-Niggurath's name then might as well change everyone's name since the names are based of Lovecraftian monster. Why singled out one name? why not change everyone.
Still trying to figure out why you are finding the need to comment to me, when I was speaking to someone else. Maybe watch some of the gameplay of the game, and see that players refuse to even say the name. Thats why I asked. Plain and simple. Nothing more, nothing less. You’re not helping the case by emphasizing HP Lovecraft is behind the name, that dude was super racist. He literally named his cat the N word. It doesn’t matter that it’s from a book, or that the name wasn’t used as a slur in the book, it still sounds exactly like a slur and it was created by an actual racist.
