Good little game! You could add so many little things to make it even better. I enjoyed the song you had playing as well.

the cover does not do this game justice. fun little thing

It's alright, but not much in terms of content.

The window is tiny though, and really uncomfortable on large screens.

You can't resize the window or go fullscreen. There's no menu or way to pause the game. Because it locks your mouse, you can't quit the game without ALT+F4. The controls only stay on screen for seconds, not giving you any time to learn them. The actual gameplay is confusing, as it's hard to tell if you're damaging enemies or taking damage. The capsule art is a political shitpost, but the actual game isn't, which is tonally inconsistent.

On the plus side, it's simple, easy on the yes, and has small filesize. It's something.

Plays nicely. Well done. Sometimes it feels unfair if I just miss the enemy with the cross and end up walking into them.

"I don't like the devil"
- Eric Barone

Rushing into enemies with the shield up feels cathartic. But I'm an old man, way past my prime, and I think the game gets hardcore too fast. Then I panic and die. The ranged powerup activating more frequently or more reliably (like every n kills), not to mention having other powerup types (a wider shield, a more durable cross, invincible dash, faster shield regeneration) would help some in the future.
I also really like the particle effects and the theme song (especially the fast bars)

Playthrough: 20+ minutes, high score 37 (goal: 33, Jesus' age)
