Thanks! I interpreted the theme very... "liberally". In the game, you will get to certain colored lines. You "cross" them to get upgrades like coyote time and double jump. As for the fact that this jam is a valentine's day jam, I was too busy to keep that in mind. I totally could have done it though.

Sorry that the lines you cross aren't obvious. I think that having a Metroid Vania platformer made finding them a bit difficult (to put it lightly).
