Made it a bit to difficult I think.
Fun, but sort of frustrating at times...just like being in love. Great job.
Nice game the platformer works well and I like the shadows you added… But where is the gamejam theme ? :/
Thanks! I interpreted the theme very... "liberally". In the game, you will get to certain colored lines. You "cross" them to get upgrades like coyote time and double jump. As for the fact that this jam is a valentine's day jam, I was too busy to keep that in mind. I totally could have done it though.
Sorry that the lines you cross aren't obvious. I think that having a Metroid Vania platformer made finding them a bit difficult (to put it lightly).
This game is awesome! Great work here in such a short timeframe.
