This entry gave me strong Slenderman vibes, and I genuinely did not dare to move too much in the forest at first aha : i think the dim light effect and the completely silent atmosphere aside from steps noises really adds to the scary mood ! at the beginning, i just followed the road, ended up getting a bit lost and wasn't sure where to go but  really cool game overall

Yeah, i wanted to add better navigation but ran out of time...you're supposed to go into the forest like towards the moon but didn't have the time to communicate that. If you wanna experience more you can try that lol :p. Either way, thanks for playing <3

I was genuinely surprised and impressed by this first-person horror game. The animated dragon was a standout , striking a perfect balance between awe and fear when it took to the air and then attacked me! LOL!. The effects of the dragon's breath were also visually stunning. While navigating the game was initially confusing, like any determined gamer, I managed to find my way, though a bit more guidance or subtle hints towards the correct path could enhance the experience for players.

Overall, the game maintained a wonderfully spooky atmosphere throughout, making for a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Great job!

Heyy, thank you soo much for the kind words..!!! I'm glad you enjoyed my game. I wanted to make the navigation more clear by putting signs and stuff but ran out of time 😭😭. Either way, I'm glad you enjoyed it and thanks for rating and reviewing lol :p

I suck at horror games so this game gave me a few good frights when the dragon first appeared and the man in the tent haha. The game did crash on me once after I left the tent after being chased (I wasn't able to move, then the dragon killed me and then it crashed) but overall it was a fun diversion! I think there could be a little more guidance on what to do as after the dragon found me and I hid in the container I wasn't sure what to do or how to get away. I would have liked to be able to see the whole story, so it would be great to know what to do next!

Oh, that was supposed to be the end screen...I think it bugged out lol. Glad you enjoyed it either way tho. I wanted to fix the navigation and give the player some direction but i ran out of time...maybe will flesh it out in a post jam version. Thanks for playing and for the kind review..!!!

I haven't been able to see anything, I simply followed the road until I reached the end of the stage, perhaps you could have indicated better where I had to go.

Ohh, you're supposed to go into the forest next to the car and not follow the road. I'm sorry it wasn't clear. Hope you give it another shot but if not, thank you for trying either way :p

I was a bit confused at first, but I quickly found my way, I didn't go very far as I got killed pretty quickly, but from what I saw, your game concept was interesting and the controls were pretty smooth, even for me who doesn't have a QWERTY keyboard. I can't say much about the atmosphere, I'm too desensitized to horror game to have a fresh opinion on it, but overall it was a pretty okay experience.

Thanks for taking the time to play the game. I wanted to add a tutorial and stuff to explain the game better but just ran out of time T-T

No worries, it happens :)

You nailed the atmosphere, and using the dragon's menacing presence in this way was pretty unique, first time seeing a dragon horror game. The sound effects elevate the feel of the game by a whole lot, and I loved the sorta psychological spaces with the tends(the long corridors make anyone feel uneasy). Only thing I'd probably improve upon is player direction, I got lost on my first playthrough.

Thanks for playing the game and reviewing it lol. I wanted to add better navigation but ran out of time unfortunately. Glad you enjoyed it either way <3

Neat! I wasn't expecting a horror game but you got the atmosphere pretty well. The biggest thing that stuck out to me was the white band on the skybox made it feel like it was day-time even though everything else was dark. If the sky was completely dark/starry skies then I think it may have helped sell the atmosphere even more. Other than that, I really liked the dragon's breath. The purple light was a cool effect overall and also helped make the game even more eerie.

Hey, thank you soo much for taking the time to review it lol. I tried fixing the sky and horizon but couldn't figure out how to in time lol. Glad you enjoyed it either way :p

There are some intriguing elements here. The atmosphere created an unexpectedly spooky vibe which I found quite engaging, even with the early graphical style.

I did encounter a challenge with navigation as the path wasn't very distinct from its surroundings. Implementing clearer boundaries could help guide players so they don't wander off unintentionally unless it serves an atmospheric or gameplay purpose.

The contrast between the dragon's cartoonish design and the realistic environment is interesting. It might be worth considering how these two styles coexist within your game's universe. There was a moment when the dragon’s animations didn’t quite sync up with the terrain — it swooped down and appeared to clip through the ground significantly. Refining these interactions would enhance immersion for sure.

Also the moon is placed in the foreground (in front of a mountain) so it definitely took me out of the immersion too when I noticed that in the distance.

While there were aspects of gameplay that could be polished further, I have to commend you on creating moments within this experience that did feel imposing! While the dragon was a bit janky, the sounds and scale of it were quite good.

It’s clear you’ve made an effort here and there are pieces of great potential throughout. Nice work!

Thanks for the kind and detailed review. I wanted to fix a lot of the things you mentioned but ran out of time or just didn't know how since this was my first time using unreal lol. Definitely gonna improve on it in the future tho  :p
