Actually, I might be there in about a week or ten days!

When you get your first promotion it is meant to give 45% bonus to all ranks. It doesn't. Orc-Cat got 50%, Devotee Supreme got 90% and all the rest got nothing. I am not sure if Achievement bonuses increased as I never really paid much attention to them, but as they don't contain decimals, I don't know if the 1% bonuses are now 1.45%.

I was thinking that when you think up the next tier, a nice bonus would to be able to select more than one Rank at a time.

Oh yes, the "Algebra" Purrk. To clarify: every achievement and Rank has their bonus and/or effect increased by 45% multiplicatively. While most Ranks went up from 20% to 29%, others received bonuses that were seemingly too high.

But I'll try to explain why Devoted Supreme displays 190% instead of 145%: an increase of 100% means you now make double the amount than you did before, so your revenue is now 200%. If the bonus would be calculated with 100%, then the bonus would be 145%. But this results in the actual revenue being 245%. It should be 290% for the bonus to actually be buffed by the "Algebra" Purrk.

I hope it is understandable this way :D

As for Achievements, I'll get the decimals back, it works for scientific notation, but not for standard notation for some reason.

Thanks for the suggestion of activating another Rank! I'll write that down to implement in the future :)

I didn't know how to view the Purrks before, I just found it while trying to figure out how to build the new departments, which I still can't do. And with all the mentions of the new roles, many of them depend on Professors and I can't figure out how to create a Professor. Is a Promoted P.E.D. a professor and a Promoted P.E.D a Sergeant?

EDIT: I just read all the different levels of Purrks.

Also, did you considerably reduce the attack speed,  power and exp gain of Meowruto and not mention anything in your update notes?

There are diminishing returns for all stats boosted by attributes now.

For example: Attack Speed increases by 1% per Agility, multiplicatively. This bonus gets reduced to 0.1% per Agility over 100.

Before, you could just increase your agility, resulting in way too much attack speed, like thousands per second

This has been mentioned in the update notes for Meowruto RPG, which are available ingame, I never took the time to post them separately :D

Sorry for any confusion, I kinda rushed this update and didn't get to work on everything I wanted to

(+1)

OK. I really feel the difference as I was focusing mainly on agility.

Is it intended that purrks are only for Promoted Disciples you currently have rather than the total you have had?

(+1)

Yes, this is indeed intentional. It's recommended (even though never mentioned ingame, my bad :D ) not to devote them. You'll train your basic Disciples fast enough so there's no need to devote higher ones.

(+1)

I wouldn't ever devote anything other than basic disciples. I don't really like devoting at all, I've only done it three times. I wish there was an option to promote basic disciples to devoted in the assessment centre as a devotion now would set me back so far for just a few fairly pointless devoted disciples. I will eventually devote, but I plan on having a massive stockpile of Promoted when I do.

Do unempowered Promoted remain when you devote or do they also get reset?

Also, I have unlocked the obstacle course, but I can't find it.

Once you've unlocked most of the upgrades that cost Devoted Disciples, there's no need to devote more of them and instead focus on promoting as many as possible.

If you empower a Department, the Promoted Disciple that was used is lost, but you gain a great bonus for the time.

And the obstacle course can be found on the 2nd Devotion game screen, check the right side hand of the screen for a light blue arrow :)

(1 edit) (+1)

No arrow. I've closed the game and reopened, still no arrow.

Maybe it needs both Educated and Buffed third upgrade? I only have buffed.

I empowered all available departments apart from the first pointless three. Unless empowering does something incredibly dramatic, I can't see them getting good enough to actually use.

(+1)

Hmm, I'll check out why the 2nd arrow doesn't show up, even if a Department from the 2nd page is unlocked.

The first 3 Departments have a hidden 2nd effect: they increase your Favor, Gift/ and/or Blessing gain by 0.0001% of their revenue (you can check the current revenue by going to Settings -> UI Settings -> Number Notation -> Income per Tick.

So if the production revenue is 1M, your Favor, Gift and/or Blessing Gain doubles.

I really need to put this somewhere, not even the manual mentions it :D

(+1)

I have the arrow now that the Thesis is unlocked.

The first 3 Departments have a hidden 2nd effect: they increase your Favor, Gift/ and/or Blessing gain by 0.0001%

OK. This makes it less of a waste of time!

(+1)

And a very minor point. For the first time there is something that doesn't really follow the Nine is Divine thing. Thesis/Obstacle could take 1998 seconds.

Like I said, minor point!

(+1)

Oh, that is actually correct :D

I just increased the time by 1000 seconds, but it makes more sense to increase it by 999, thanks for pointing this out :)
