No, don't worry, it gets sold to a benevolent organisation which shall not be named (until I come up with a good name lol)

Hey there,
I wish I could say no, but this really happened.
Here's a link to an official news agency in Germany: Catfish Brombachsee
Hey there, good to hear from you and thanks for thoroughly testing this game :D
The achievements will be related to the new content (conquering, milestones and mastering), but I like the idea to reach x meters without buying any upgrade. This kind of challenge will be part of another major update, which I'll work on later
About LotCG: the next major content update is about 2-3 weeks from release! Just needs more work, polishing and testing. I hope it will be fun to play :)
Have a good time, doc 👍
Hey there,
I've been working on a new game due to recent events involving a certain catfish and I want to raise awareness to this matter.
You can read additional information about it in the game's description (there's a link to the original news article).
Check it out here
PS: Some feedback would surely help 🙂
Hey there,
I've started playing a week or two ago and I must say, great work!
What I liked the most is that progress really feels earned and reaching a new prestige layer gives quite good powers.
I can't say what it is, but the game got me hooked pretty good.
That said, I've almost finished all content the game has to offer at the moment (trying to reach all Infinity milestones), so I'm looking forward for more.
I also have some suggestions for QoL features/changes.
- Don't deactivate buffs when leaving the Abyss
- Presets for buffs (put the ones you want in a list, prioritize the ones at the start for when you don't have enough active buffs available)
- Ascension Shards and Rebirth Points should show a shortened number like XP does
- "Buy All" Radiation Perks (maybe as an upgrade in the new Prestige Layer)
There are also some typos here and there, but it isn't a big deal. If you find some, just fix them, no biggie :D
Thanks for this experience, I've enjoyed it a lot!
Thanks for everything :)
I don't mind waiting for the new version to hit itch, since I still have 3 rockets left to build :D
I've also started coding as a hobby and it's a nice feeling to create something that people actually play
Me personally, I write my code in C# and use Unity with Visual Studio and my only regret is that I didn't start coding a few years prior when I had the chance.
I wish you all the best and a lot of fun with your projects :)
Yeah, I totally get that, the player first needs to get familiar with the game, meaning they will have to check out everything first hand and understand, what there is to do.
I have a few more suggestions:
- Hotkeys for opening certain tabs, selling and/or fusing
- Activating Auto Save by default, when I start on a new device, the option is turned off
- A button that expands/collapses the whole list, so you don't need to open every single resource
A stats page would definitely help getting a better overview, glad you're already working on it :)
And btw, I like the messages at the top of the screen, they're a nice addition
If you don't mind me asking, what language and IDE do you use?
Thanks for the answer, I just sent you my pioneer name :)
Auto selling sounds like a great feature, especially when you can set it to sell whenever you passed a certain threshold. Same goes for "Auto Fuse" and "Auto upgrade Storage". Any further automations make sense once the player has prestiged I think, like unlocking the option to buy generators automatically for example.
Looking forward to more content :)
Hey there, thanks for the feedback!
I'm glad you like the game :)
The show was pretty much an international hit I think. Where I'm from it's called "Glücksrad" and it was awesome to watch as a child. Too bad it's not around anymore.
Great suggestion, I've moved the "Round over notification" out of the way so the board is visible after the round is over. Additionally, the board now displays the answer whether you won or not.
Hey there, thanks for the feedback.
I'm not able to reproduce the bug with the Jimmys face being still there after clicking "New Round".
As for the "Return to Catopia" button, it shouldn't even exist, I must have forgotten to remove it, thanks for pointing it out :)
Could you provide me with some screenshots perhaps, so I can see what you see?
Hey there,
Thanks for the reply.
At this moment AD does not work properly, maybe it's just on my part, though I've activated both upgrades and I'm not sure what else I can do.
I've also checked again if Spirit is drained when the settings menu is open and you were right - the game is paused at this time. However, pressing the space bar unpauses it so I guess this was my issue :D
Typical layer 8 problem I guess.
I'd love to help with a map, is there a link to this community you can share?
Hey there,
I've come across an issue:
It seems I can't create rocket fuel. I have every upgrade available, got one rocket completed and built the launch pad. But when trying to fuel a rocket it says "Lacks fuel research".
So far the game is not optimal when it comes to user friendliness, requiring too many clicks and energy consumption can become quite high without the option to turn off certain generators.
On a more positive note, I like the ideas you've implemented, even going as far as creating the Cosmicopedia.
The option to fuse certain elements is also a nice touch.
I really hope I can start mining soon.
Looking forward for new content, especially the Rebirth feature.
Thanks for reading :)
Hey there,
I played the game when only the Legion chapter was available and it got me instantly hooked. It probably took me a couple of hours to reach the end and it was a lot of fun.
Even though I'm not a fan of grinding too much, I didn't feel annoyed or bored by it, when the time came to collect SP. Can't say what it is, but you've done a great job.
Then I came back to see there is a 2nd chapter. Too bad my progress got deleted. The cloud code didn't work for me, so I started over, it was no big deal for me. Good thing I did this, because I would have missed a certain upgrade for sure.
Now that I've spent multiple hours in the past few days alone to reach the current end, I can safely say that I have an addiction problem when it comes to good incremental games :D
I'd also like to report one bug that I've noticed and give some suggestions.
The "last cycle" text for any action hasn't appeared since the last update and neither did the AD upgrade work, making retracing more tedious.
As for my suggestions, when opening the settings and/or combat skills menu the game should be paused IMO, similar to when checking out the story. When manually pausing, you can't interact with the UI. I say this because I've tried to export the game at a specific point in the 2nd chapter and it cost me a bunch of Spirit because I was just so slow :D
The other suggestion is to create some kind of map, so you can see which paths you've already taken.
All in all I can say that this is one of my favorite games on this site and I wish you all the best while also looking forward to more content!
Thanks for reading :)
Oops, seems like I've uploaded the wrong version on itch. Since the game is available on Android via the Play Store and 3 websites (maybe 4 soon), I need to make builds for each one because of some special dependencies like SDKs and other plugins.
I've uploaded the right one now, thanks for pointing it out :)
Oh, I think I understand now. You're trying to get a Building from the Shop after doing a Blessing reset.
Let's say you want the Training Hall for example. It displays 1 Gift as a price, but depending on what you've selected on the "Multi Build Button", the price is a different one.
If that's the problem I've got the solution :)
I'm glad you finished the Trial and thanks for the kind words :)
Btw. you can still play on Kongregate, there is no difference in version.
The game is also hosted on CrazyGames where you can watch ads to gain bonuses, if you're into that kind of thing lol.
It's even out on mobile for Android devices.
In any case, I hope I'll get the next update out by the end of January.
I can't seem to reproduce the bug. Can you give me a step-by-step instruction on how to do it? :D
What I did was to ascend while having "Build 5", "Build 10" or "OCD Build" chosen and making sure I have enough Gifts, either before or after Ascension. Both times did not result in what you've described, I was able to build according to my current number of Gifts.
Thanks for reporting this bug, I'll check it out.
About Trial 3: the problem is that, in order to unlock Blessings, one needs to have ascended at least 3 times and have collected at least 27 Gifts. Now usually when you start Trials, you've already surpassed this number but due to an error in the code (a mistake on my end) the number of Ascensions is reset to zero, meaning you would need to ascend 3 times before getting a Blessing in Trial 3.
This is the only "workaround" at the moment.
I've fixed the bug but haven't been able to update the game yet as I'm still implementing some more stuff for the next patch.
Thank you for your patience and reporting any glitches you come across :)
Hey there,
I've released a game that I've developed during the Crazy Web Game Jam 2024 and polished it for the last few weeks.
About the game:
Two nations (blue and red) are at the brink of war and it's your job to solve this oncoming crisis.
You are the head of your nation's intelligence agency and your goal is to weaken the enemy or make them surrender in another way.
Send spies on missions to gather intel, steal funds or even get in contact with the criminal network.
Will you be the one to stop nuclear annihilation?
Try it out here: https://aimless-studios.itch.io/cold-war-a-game-of-spies
I'm happy for any kind of feedback so make sure to leave a comment :)
I assume that the next update related to the Karma Cap will be on the way by mid April, if all goes well. I'll try to get more work done on Monday and then I can give a more accurate estimate.
Changes for the upcoming update include:
Multi build options for Buildings (finally)
Offline progression optimization, if possible with Automation options
Buuuuug fixes
If I find enough motivation, I'll even implement all the missing Purrks, Disciple Types and Departments, so the Devotion stage is finally finished.
We'll see how next week goes I guess :D
About the PED and PBD issue: when the bar fills, either an ED or BD is picked (both have a 50% chance), then you roll for promotion. So statistically both should increase at the same speed :D
I hope I can lift the cap in the near future, but I didn't have the time to really code much over the past few days.
