Rugs!

I looove aseprite and one night was making an ornate rug for my upcoming game. It was one of the most rewarding pieces of art I've made recently. So I made 70 color combos, and might make more- as one does. I also want to animate it with a little lump scurrying underneath where you can make a little mouse pop out or something.

Has anyone made something that you're super proud of recently? Such a great feeling, right

This is a collage from the first batch of about 30 rugs... then I made 40 more haha The original is the big one, sort of in the middle there. I wanted to make yellow flowers with red cardinals :) I have an affinity for organic shapes and loved how it turned out, because pixels are so absolute. Its so cool to go in and make so much detail with literally _a pixel_  Truly an underrated art form.

Thanks for watching my Bed Talk

I'll mention they are for sale right now and purchases go towards the production of my upcoming game. Thanks for helping these dreams come true, Devs

While I have no real need for a rug asset (mostly because I’m a pixel artist myself), I still wanted to chime in and say that these look really nice! Good work and bad pun (my favorite kind of pun)!

Your satisfaction in drawing rugs reminds me of when I was a kid drawing for fun. That's a very precious experience.

Everyones got something to offer, just checked your page and your games look amazing! I'm sure if something inspired you, you would knock it out of the park :)

could be nice for a low poly texture.

I would love to branch out and try new programs so any advice is apreciated

Great! They look really good and have a very pleasant atmosphere. And I think it would work great in both 2D and 3D :D

Thanks! I haven't tried 3D yet but would love any pointers on where to start/what people need.
