Really awesome graphical style and a cool concept overall. I think this game has some really great bones. I'd love this to see developed further!

Hey, good job! The dithered sword trails looked great, and overall good visuals throughout. Tough genre to attempt in a game jam format, but you managed to create a cool prototype here!

Developer

Thanks! Near the end, we realized this kinda of game definitely needed way more time to cook. Lesson learned!

Incredibly impressive that you got all this done in two weeks. The world itself is incredibly interesting visually. The combat was just enough to keep me engaged, would love to see it expanded on/utilized more. But the world is really what sells this for me. Loved it.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! We put a lot of time in getting the "feel" of the world right, so glad you liked it!

Nice take on the Dark Souls formula. The combat has a good weight to it. I didn't run into many situations that forced me to use the large variety of moves available. But the poison+proc gameplay seemed like a fun take to encourage a different kind of play style. The mushroom world was nice to explore too.

Unfortunately it seems like I ran into an issue where the final boss didn't really fight back, but I had fun testing out the combat system!

Developer

Yea, we ran out of time when we were adding the boss stuff, so it actually is very unpolished and buggy. Sorry about that, but glad you enjoyed the rest of the game!
