I started making a new area for Beyond Retrieval. With this area, the main quest is going to be over. The only thing left after this is two big side-quests (20 optional boss fights and 2 new areas). Development is going very smoothly and at this rate, it is safe to say that the game is going to be complete by the end of this year :)

The main #BeyondRetrieval quest is finally over. And now I can start on 2 big side-quest with tons of optional bosses and 2 new locations. In the meant time here are few more information about the game itself :)

- LORE -

In the beginning, there were three Gods - Mesea, Astrild, and Oriax. These Gods had the power to use energy and manipulate it. This way they could create anything. With enough power and knowledge, they could even create an entire universe. And they did. But after some time they saw that the empty universe is meaningless. So, after several attempts, they created life. Small one-cell organisms that after some time started to evolve in something much more. And after a few million years, evolution created first humans. As the most advanced living organisms, humans developed a second layer of energy in them. This energy was known as soul and even after the death of a human soul would continue existing. This overcrowded the world so three Gods decided to create another world called Peklo and transport all the souls without the body there. Some souls were stronger than others and even had a consciousness. So the first angels were born from them. Some of those angels even become the right hand of the Gods. These strong angels are called Guardians and there is currently nine of them at the time the game starts. 

- GAME CONTENT -

Beyond Retrieval is a metroidvania game. So Player is going to be able to explore 10 locations. Each with a unique boss fight and at least one side boss. Player will control one of three playable characters (that can be changed at any time). As for the items, there are 109 blood crystals, 45 weapons (15 for each character), 15 magic, 20 key items, and 9 secret items.

I have to apologize. I wanted to post #BeyondRetrieval final trailer this week but as I started recording footage for the trailer I started discovering unexpected bugs and some small problems with a game. So I decided to fix all of those before I upload final trailer with a release date. Also, some of the areas will get small graphical updates. Game is still going to be finished very soon. I am working extremely hard these days on ironing #BeyondRetrieval. Game is almost done but there are few more things that need to be done. I managed to fix several bugs and change the location of some items so the player can progress in the game more naturally. Also, I will try to improve backgrounds in some location so they can look a bit better :) All in all, the game is shaping up really nicely. More new information coming up next week.
