As promised her is my rating and feedback. I was a little busy with the Kenney Jam.
I really like your game and twist on the well know chess game. The graphics and music are nice. I'm not sure if you made them your own, but I guess not. Anyway, that's not part of the rating here.
The controls feel smooth and I really like the highlighting where you can move, but I have a few points which you could improve if you keep working on the game.
- Additional UI elements to show you how many moves you are away from being able to switch your chess piece.
- When you select a chess piece for the switch, you are locked to changing this one. It would be good to be able to change my decision and select a different one.
- Implementing an AI to play against.
I could really see this as a full fledged game. It would also be perfect for mobile devices.
