I was trying to break the game running for my life and ignoring all the turrets, but I could'nt do it daaamn :( Had to actually learn how to shoot and move at the same time ahah. Good idea to add some collectables to make it worth it killing turrets.

Great job!

Developer

Yeah it's only possible in some areas. Thanks a lot!

Congrats on submission, really enjoyed this one! Was able to clear without much issue by slowly destroying all towers, and getting all the upgrades.
Aside from what others have mentioned, I'd really like to see some visual feedback on hitting enemy towers (either health bars or some visual hit effect). Currently, the sound effect that triggers when you hit a tower gets easily overlapped by the player's shooting sfx.

You are right, that would be nice. Thank you!

A nice submission! I also made a reversed tower defense game, but with very different mechanics. I liked controlling the one enemy! One thing I'll note is that it was much easier for me to beat the game by never shooting and just dodging rather than shooting, not sure if that's intended.

Thanks, I love how you attached evidence, that you finished the game haha. That's cool! I will for sure check your game out. You are right with the last note, I just wasn't sure how to deal with it on such a tight schedule.

I totally get it. Balancing is a nightmare, it's super easy to tweak a single thing and make it effortless or impossible lol

Simple concept. On my second attempt I figured I’d try to avoid shooting at all and just run for it, but I was not able to complete that way (which is good :) you should not be able to complete the game without shooting).

Maybe some other power-ups/tower types could spice up the gameplay a bit, but given the time constraints of 48h pretty well done I’d say :]

Thank you!

I thought this game played pretty well and I was intrigued by the concept of a tower offense game. My couple points below:

In a lot of places I found it easier to just avoid fire instead of shooting or fighting, and overall the game more or less felt like a standard top down shooter. If you decide to update the game it might be cool to add more tower defense elements to overcome.

Thanks for playing and commenting! You are right, I found that as well, but simply didn't have enough time to fix it.
