How does your game fit the theme?
It's a card game where you play against yourself, alternating roles each turn. You try to win "together" but each identity is causing problems for the others. The game is made in solo (design & code), from a blank project, and it uses free art & audio assets.

-Enjoyment: A super fun card game!

-Creativity: Really creative ideas!

-Presentation: This has the best sound I've heard in all the games I played so far.  Love the ambient street sounds + all the movement wooshes! All the graphics are put together well too!

-Neat game indeed!! Please check out my non-creative entry when you can :D

Wow, this is an insanely good idea. I love the little details you put in: how the camera rotates, how new cards come in, the sound effects... I think this has a lot potential which different cards, scenario, etc.

A couple of things that need to be polished: it's not very clear that you'll be gaining a point when you end a turn. Also reading the cards in the current layout is kinda hard. I mean both the vertical text in the center of the card and the upside down part on your opponent's side (if I'm removing a card from the deck I need to know what I'm losing for the other player).

Good feedback, thanks! I plan to continue development, these are definitely some elements I'd change. The layout of the cards isn't great indeed, I should switch to horizontal maybe

Very neat idea, the sound scape and the visuals set a good feeling and it's easy to understand. Wish you all the best for further development!

It's interesting and original! I liked it. You can explore that concept a bit more once the jam is over :D

Thanks! I intend to continue the game after the jam ends indeed

Rather interesting concept and a rather good art style. It takes a bit of time to fully get the hang of but all in all, Well Done!

Developer(+1)

Thanks! With more time I would have created a tutorial, definitely a bit rough in current state

Very interesting concept and nice art direction. The gameplay loop is also very addicting.

But the Rng seems waay too unforgiving and unreliable at some parts. I think guaranteed cards in specific situations would make the game a teeny bit better (maybe)

But other than that very noice!

Developer

You're right, this is definitely what I'll add post-jam, thanks for playing :)

Ok so after some minutes of playing I can say that this game is really nice and I enjoyed it! I just had some trouble understanding how to play at the beginning (but I am also pretty stupid so... yeah)

All in all you can be REALLY proud of what you have made and I hope many others will see it too! Good Luck!

Developer

Thanks a lot! Yeah the game's not very well explained, I did add detailed info in the pages but I'm not sure people are going to read it :/

Interesting and really original take on the theme. The graphics  fit the vibe perfectly. Maybe the game could be a little easier to combat a quite large luck factor. Nonetheless great submission!

Developer

Indeed! I didn't have much time to balance the experience, it's a bit too hard to my liking currently. I was thinking of adding one (or several) interactions to discard & draw a new hand, it could help a lot to counter bad luck
