I know its a really dumb issue to have all things considered... BUT... in what fucking world is 25% a "small" tip and 100% is ONLY a "big" tip. Literally unplayable smh.

I was undecided between you being sarcastic and you being a dick, to be honest, but I'm glad to see that my gut feeling was right and it was just conversation via internet being hard again. Damn lack of inflection in written conversation. :P

Anyway, those tip numbers would be horrible, yeah. But the tipping system is nasty in general. Decidedly not a fan of it.

in my defense, I was under the impression that "literally unplayable" was a well known joke statement, among gamers, and was hoping that would do the heavy lifting of showing sarcasm

That makes it unplayable?? Perhaps you cannot look past your...frugal nature to see that others don't necessarily view material wealth the same way you do!!
