Nice start, Isabelle seems like less of a douche in this version, but I have a few glaring issues. First, there is nothing telling you that the village is available after meeting the succubus, and that is the only place where you can get healing since the fairy village is blocked off. Two, loading an autosave during the scene where Melanie visits the village really messes with the cutscene and prevents the player from being able to leave the village afterward. Third, Essence Drain doesn't seem to work properly if you kill something with it.

yeah I tried a bit harder to make her a bit more normal to begin with.

Ah, I’ll make sure to add something in the text to let people know they can head there. May also add in a way to heal, for a pride with Anima.

Yeah, I should disable that autosave…. Since it requires the character to be in a particular place.

It’s weird. Before I swapped to side view, it worked with no issue. So I’m going to have to figure a work around for it. I have a feeling it’s visustella’s battle plug-in that is causing the issue.

Found another bug where killing the witch in the inn causes a duplicate of the inkeeper to block the way out. Also. the fact that the weakest enemies spawn the furthest from the village is also a bit counter-intuitive.

Ah damn. Thought I got that one. Must have not saved it.

Hmm, that does make sense. I'll rejig the enemies around to make the easier ones spawn near where you start...

The weakest enemies are near where you start, I was suggesting that the weakest enemies should be near where the succubus resides instead.

I meant like where you start that it actually matters! :P

Loaded a save from the first version, don't think this was supposed to happen. Also, if saves are meant to be incompatible between versions adding an intro skip and holding ctrl to zoom through textboxes would make getting back to where you were much less tedious.

Edit: Now killing an enemy with Essence Drain causes the textbox to appear multiple times, and it stacks.

no that was my bad. Was meant to add that a new file is required since of variables being changed. But very true, will add a skip in soon.

That’s odd with Essence Drain… I tested it myself as I ran through the game and didn’t see that happen….
