Loved this game, really cozy!

I haven't done picross in years, and that last 15th puzzle really pushed my brain in order to do it without guessing towards the end!

Short story but interesting themes and lore packed in the game as well.

If I have anything negative to say, it's just that, rarely, when marking a cell, I've felt a delay like the game was doing calculations or stuff in the background before the cross actually appeared on screen.

Overall great game.

i just played this yesterday definitely recommend and i love the ending!

my god i am so bad at picross. but this makes me want to get better... motivation and a good ost? heh.... very nice :3

absolutely adorable! will 100% be looking out for more with these two!!

(... also wait, plumbridge wouldn't accept cassia...? cassia trans question mark heart emoji???)

the thing is that this is actually a prequell to another game, "starray flowers", witch is a sequell to the games  "syrup and the ultimate sweet" and  "first kiss at a spookie sorrié", we have seen cassia also in the game "lonely wolf treat", in other words: cheak out other nami games, they appear there too

CUTE!!!!!

I've just finished the game. It was very, very cute! The idea is simple - meddling the visual novel genre with Picross, puzzles that I am personally a fan of - but so effective!

The discussion between the two protagonists is again cute, and they are quite interesting.

The puzzles themselves are great, except a bonus one that I found a bit confusing, but it is fine as the game doesn't punish you too hard for making mistakes.

Concerning the visuals, I love how you've drawn the characters: those round shapes are perfect with the style of the universe!

In other words, this was a nice little experience, thank you for your hard work!

NB: the translation in French is very good.

This was ridiculously cozy!

I'm already a fan of picross/nonogram puzzles already, so the puzzles felt like a nice balance without being too challenging for me. It's pretty standard in that regard, but the story and vibes are what take it to the next level.

Cassia and Senna are ridiculously relatable in their own ways, tbh. And I love the moments that imply just a bit more going on in their world.

The only negative I have is that gamepad support doesn't quite work? You can move your cursor around the board, but you can't mark squares. It's not a huge deal, just odd that everything else works and this action doesn't.

Love this game, the characters are so cute together! made me realize I am absolutely Terrible at these types of puzzles though.

Aubrey?!?!? ( Also! Don't worry I'm also terrible at puzzle games- )

But puzzle games are just so fun to play sometime, even when it's a struggle, and the art style is so cute ^^

I never check this website but Hello! :D did not expect to find you here!

Hii, it's been a while since I said the comment so I almost forgot about it, though I'm really happy you responded <3

Brain hurt from puzzle. No mistakes though. Love the art style and simplicity of the game. The narrative adds a nice touch to the game, that makes it just that more interesting than other puzzle games like this one1

20 minutes for one play through, though I think there may be different endings? Not sure tho! Short and sweet but I think it would only be enjoyable to people who already like/know how to do nonogram puzzles!

(+1)

This game was so cute and nice! I only wished there was more of it because I love doing picross puzzles.

very short but VERY cute! made me smile <3 theres some lag on the bigger puzzles but this is a picross game made in renpy so its forgivable

I love this game! I love nonograms so that was the initial hook, but I just grew to love the characters so much! They are so cute together, I can't! >w<

(1 edit) (+2)

lovely little game, one thing like some other comments mentioned filling the tiles could get janky

(+1)

I loooooooooooove nonograms so much. I would replay an older Nancy Drew title just to get nonograms to play, until I learned I could find them online. As someone who has made them and encountered many who have trouble learning what they need to do, this is a really great experience for a newbie. Some of the harder ones remain fun! The art and soundtrack are awesome as well. :) A great first Nomnom Nami experience.

This game was incredibly charming and cute. The music doesn't bore you too much and the art is so beautiful. I'm not good at this kind of puzzles and some of them took me more than half an hour to finish yet I think the challenge is perfect to not be too frustrating. I never felt like quitting because the puzzles were too much for me.

Finally, kudos to Cassia's little story in the epilogue ;)

10/10

Hello!

My name is Camila and I'd like to translate this game in Italian!

I'm a Game Localization Specialist and I already translated a couple of indie games. If you're interested, let me know! <3

(+1)

im pretty sure nami has an open e-mail adress where you can ask to translate games, might be a better shot to do it their

(+7)

Hi, Nami! kinda random but I was wondering if Cassia is transgender, during the lunch route of the epilogue she mentions that Senna's dream high-school wouldn't have accepted have accepted her due to their traditional values and that they wouldn't have even recognized her as a girl. If so, I wanted to say that I think it's cool.

(+1)

I was looking through the translations and noticed the game didn't have a Japanese-language version. Can I chip in and do a Japanese-language translation for the game?

It's very cute, relaxing and fun, though I wish there was an easy way to look at previously completed charms

They're in the Gallery in the menu :)

Right, I saw that after posting the comment, as well as the bonus puzzles. The game seems to struggle a lot at rendering 15x15 grids, leading to a lot of dropped inputs. Perhaps consider not updating tiles that can't be interacted with anymore? If that's even possible, I don't know how it's coded backstage. Also, it would have been way easier to keep track of which row/column the square my mouse was on if the corresponding labels on the left/top had been highlighted, just like the tile.

Anyhow, I played through it in an evening with a friend and we had a blast. Thank you for making it!

+ Cute. The characters, art, and story all fit together.

+ Chill music. Also fits with the rest, but deserves extra mention.

+ Good puzzles. Nothing to complain here. The challenge is good unless you've done a ton of these puzzles.

- UI could use some work. Marking squares sometimes doesn't register if you click or drag a line too fast. If you try to load a save while on a board it registers a click on the confirm window. Clicking a square you've marked with a cross creates a mistake, which means one purpose of marking with crosses, guarding against misclicks, doesn't work.

- I prefer getting rid of mistakes and instead allow erasing and not telling you if you've marked a wrong square and not auto-marking a complete line/row.

if you only use the uhh lighter colored click thing, it do exactly that!

Beautiful game! As a bit of a nonogram addict, I wasn't sure what I was expecting but the story was very cute and some of the later puzzles where fairly challenging. Kinda wish there was an option to allow erasing but the game doesn't tell you if you've made mistakes, but I can't complain because I had such a nice time playing this game :)

Never played Picross, but I'm having a lot of fun and the art is so cute!

you can try just use the test-mark color thing!

Found a nice small game to ease stress and relax. Surprisingly, this one worked for me. Thank you for this. One hour's worth of my time is not wasted.
Also they're so cute! <3

Hi NomNomNami!

Ah, I was just so excited I couldn't wait to tell you, I got the game to work! Last time, I commented about how the sound died and then the game would crash, but I downloaded the update today, and it works! Playing it now, excited to see what happens~ :'3

(+1)

so glad to hear this!! hope you had fun playing haha

(+1)

Yeah, I'm on the epilogue now lol. ^_^ Can't wait for more of your games.

I love this game, i started playing when the final exams are coming because I need a quick relaxing game to play and it was very nice to put my mind on something else other than studies.

This game is so cute! Excellent job :D

(-2)

Awesome but where is the next treat installment alreadyyyyyy

working on it! i post updates regularly on my patreon :)

This game was adorable! I love puzzle games but have never really played picross. The game is really good about easing you into things, and I love that you aren't punished for mistakes. It makes everything feel so much more relaxed

A few weeks ago I found my 3DS and relearned how to play picross. this is such a gem of a game to find! I love anything witches (the characters are adorable!) and the puzzles were great as well :)

(+2)

Such a cute game, really enjoyed playing through and browsing the gallery

(+1)

I’am interested to translate your game into the “German” language. It ist possible for you to contact me for a deeper conversation about a possible coop?

(+3)

Very fun little game! I would totally recommend it, the story is very sweet, the art style is adorable, and I had fun with the nonograms :D

(+3)

This was a very cute little game. It took a little under an hour to play including all the bonus levels and the epilogue, but I had fun with it and found it worthwhile, and I do adore Nonograms. :)

(+6)

This is adorable. Although the epilogue mad me a little sad.

Also the people that run the traditional all-girls boarding school are poopy-heads! Grrr!

(+1)

This game is very cute and well polished! I really enjoy the art style, the story, and the music. It's great!
