Interesting. Is running the game on a local server something that could be reasonably achieved by most players? Or is that just something worth mentioning for people who already know how to do that? Thanks for letting me know about it regardless.

I think people who already know how to do it would benefit from mentioning. At the same time, there are loads of ways to set up a local server, and even one's built directly into the browser that take almost no technical expertise to run. (Just google "web server for chrome" and options pop up immediately).

I'll take a look at that, thanks!

When you say the character creator is working, do you mean the ability to choose a skin tone, hair style, and hair color at the start of the game? I probably should have specified, but that's not actually the character creator plugin that doesn't work with the web version. The part that doesn't work on web is the character's sprite and face image actually reflecting the choices you make during that initial set up. I mention this because using the web server for chrome plugin didn't cause my sprite to be customizable, and I'm not sure if that's because I didn't do it correctly, or if that's because my explanation wasn't clear originally.

The sprite and face image was what I was referring to as working, all my edits at the start were reflected onto the character.

Interesting. I wonder if there are extra steps I'd need to take with that chrome plug-in, or if I would need to more properly set up the local server. I'll probably just mention that players who already know how to set up a server might be able to play the web version with everything working properly. Thanks again!
