Bought Robe Recipes III at the last possible instance. Was hoping to upgrade my Spellsteel Robe, but the shop doesn't sell Mithril. Well, still got time to get more gear. Spend that Needle, etc.

Whoops, set the wrong switch there. Ah well, at least it won't break the cutscene later. I'll have that fixed next patch.
Funny- I haven't got a single shop that sells Mythril. It is a Sample reward in a few areas, and a 50% drop from Cave Worms as well. (A certain medal might come in handy, now that I think about it...)

EDIT 2: Great, I forgot one conditional branch and now you can skip to the second dungeon when it doesn't make sense. I'll release a re-re-patch to prevent that in just a bit.

Hmm. Gonna reload and spec for Thunder throwers. Or try Adrenaline. Eh, might as well have fun and try the EM Shuriken.
Uh... EM Shuriken doesn't seem to be dealing any damage to the Thunder throwers. They have 15 base damage, + Brill's 10+ Attack, vs. the throwers' 13 Defense. it should be 12 Damage every counter?
EDIT: Oh, it was just the first counters that didn't deal damage. Maybe. I probably just missed their Block Symbol appearing. Maybe blocked attacks should have a special sound or word or color or something?

Ooh, I like that idea. It'd be a bit tricky to pull off, but it'd give some more feedback both to Blocking at a good time and to landing (or taking) a big hit with Thunder.
Maybe I'll have Electromagnet Shuriken ignore Block or Defense. As it is, it's a bit hard to justify putting it in a Trinket slot. EDIT: Also, I'm taking off the Variance on it. I must have Copied/Pasted player counterattacks.
Ah. Didn't even notice the Variance until now. Could you give the Shurikens some Thunder Resistance? Fits being a weapon against Thunder Users that way. Although, ignoring Block or Defense would have them deal about double damage, which would have Brill probably survive the battle just as well, especially if I ran with a Leaf Greatshield.
Was looking at the Journal to see if I should leave and come back. Should "The King's Request" be complete now that I have the Skystep Boots? He didn't say anything about needing to help his niece Astra, I think? Cool touch that they're niece and uncle!
Shoot, that should be counted as done when you talk to the King for the first time. I'll have that fixed next patch, and it'll also be counted as done if you have a regular chat with him again.

Ferdinn would love to talk more about his niece, but as one NPC mentioned, he's still single. Unfortunately, that means the succession is still uncertain, which could make a conversation potentially dangerous for her- especially since Astra herself is involved in some vaguely Project-Balor-related drama that caused her to run away from home.
