Hello, as the title says I'm new to making games and would appreciate some tips on learning what I need to do this hobby better. I attempted to go to college for game design but it didn't turn out as I was hoping. Trying my best to learn by self teaching and YouTube tutorials.

Here's yer tips:

Don't make a game that you feel is "good enough".

Just follow the rules.

Submit something, even unfinished.

You can learn a lot from the many Unity tutorials on YouTube and Udemy or Coursera. Because it is C# you can use most what you learned in other C# supported engines like Godot or Flax Engine.
