At first thanks for your review^^ I'm glad that there were at least some parts of the game you enjoyed!

(Spoilers up ahead)

Tbh I wouldn't say that Olivia's completely innocent since she did play into Ellen's murderous tendencies. She's def still a victim though, even if she herself doesn't see it that way.

Moreover, Ellen isn't supposed to be a likeable protag. I wrote the dead ends as brutally as I could so that you as a player would feel bad for Olivia.

As for the ending feeling tacked on... I had a deadline for this game, so the overall ending is rushed. But one of the things I wanted to convey was Ellen's guilt after realizing that there's more to Olivia than a "prop" in a timeloop. (as a contrast to her brutal ways)

Also, I kinda had the idea for this game ever since high school, I suppose? Though one of the inspirations were the "Whack your Boss"-games.

The timeloop-plot was added, because I recently started my first job when I made that game. So I put some of my frustrations in the game haha

I hope my answer gave you a better insight into why I designed the game this way^^

Thank you very much for your insight, it was indeed helpful! All in all, your game gave me a lot to think about, which is the best I can wish for in art. Wish you the very best on the success of this game and your future endeavours!
