After the end screen

Hello, new pals, I made a little game as an introduction for my digital game design portfolio and I’m very happy with it! When the game ends and after the final message, however, it sits on a blank screen. Is there a way to get it to just stay on the final message, or to restart the whole thing?

Hello!

It's strange, by default Bitsy should restart the game after the final screen. Have you been using any hacks or editing source code in any way?

Not in the slightest. Here's the file so you can see: http://blog.patientrock.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/02/AustinIntro.html

It seems that everything worked as intended for me. When I press a button after the end title, it goes empty, then when I press it again, the game restarts. Is this the behavior you have?

Right, so is there a way to have something in that blank transitional screen? Right now it goes final message>>press button>>blank screen>>press button>>restart.

Or skip the button press to clear the blank screen.

Ah, I see. Most probably it is impossible to do without some changes in the base code (

Unfortunately, not quite sure how to do that, since I'm not versed in HTML or JS.

Valeriy is right, there's no way to do this currently without hacking the engine - sorry!
