I'm here to ask what is the best build to spec in to in order for label to not completely destroy me once I get caught since that seems to be inevitable on her floor with how restricting the path around her labyrinth is. I'm also wondering what are some strategies I could do in order to make a bit less irritating when I get caught and try to escape?
Abuse her Breast and Seduce weaknesses. Eat healing food from Belle and choose healing perk which unlocks after 40 power. If you ask my strategy: It was pure foreplay based build with "Enamor" and "Breast Fondle" as main source of damage, debuff stacking and healing. Even Venefica can't do much vs dude with 1000 hp who heals on 50 every turn and have endless energy.
MGD does not use, and will never use AI art. Some users have just taken to it with fan things, so there is a specific channel for that rather than it be in the mgd art or fan art channel, or fill up the fluff discussion channel.

Yeah man I think this game has a problem with other phones I play this game on my samsung phone and it hasn't crashed the only time it hangs is when I use skip mode and make a choice then it freezes for 3 seconds it really plays smoothly so I don't know what is happening with all your phones
The game is 100% text based with 2D art, it's not exactly ground breaking by any stretch. There's almost no reason why it should cause this many problems. The problems all stem from bad optimization.
Anyway. I really liked this game. Was here since 2020 and honestly, had a blast playing. But things changed. Mostly the fact that updates takes now one year instead of 1 month, like it was back in the days.
I don't blame anyone, making game with little to no team is hard, But at the same time it started to take ages.
For now gona quit patreon and move to others titles. Meabye i ll come back after 2-3years to check out progress.
You could just pay for Patreon membership as new updates roll out. A monthly membership with nothing to show for it doesn't incentivize progress (Summertime Saga is a great example of this). In my line of work, I'm expected to produce results for people that pay me to do a job. I expect no less when I choose to support a project.
For the record, I think MGD is a great game. I just can't justify spending money on a project when updates are few and far between, and with minimal new content.

My strategy with the fight was using a power up along with a crit multiplier at the same turn and Hitting her with it. If the crit appears you take out so much of her health. The fight is pretty much over if you know what you are doing.

The ones I do not like are only out of personal preference and not out of bad writing because they are all written well. The only unpleasantry I had was with the Town's "Not-witch" Elly. I did not want to do dirty stuff with her in-game since I saw her in a similar light as Lillian. The story is nothing mind-blowing so far but it does not have to be. I usually hate stuff with cliche stories like this one which has a standard plot of subduing a demon queen, yet everything surrounding the story such as the characters and lore built around it serve to make it distinct and special. The lore is quite nice to say the least. Not much room for speculation, but it makes for an entertaining read in an already reading-intensive game. The explanations for world events are deep and sufficient enough to create an immersive world. 8/10 as the unfinished masterpiece it is. Hail the Demon Queen Perpetua.
If you install joiplay you can run the Windows version of the game through the joiplay ren'py plugin. Just install the mods like you would for pc, and run the game.
Install all mods to the main Android data directory in the game's main folder, create a new folder called game in the main directory under files folder and dump the mods there.
It'll look something like android/data/monstergirldreams.program/files/game
Most of the extra location and extra character mods don't work and give missing file errors. Generally useless and not worth the effort. The Dirty Cheats mod works, just put it in the game folder.

As others have pointed out, mods can be helpful. You could also just enable the console. The wiki even tells you how to, along with the full list of commands to fine tune your stats and what not.
Yes. First, make sure you save in Town, then keep a copy of the save folder that you'll move to the new version. This for PC. I don't know how things work for the Android version.
Typically if you use mobile, it will prompt to just update the game. It will then keep the save file paths intact (usually) so there shouldn't be any issues when a new version drops.

Label is certainly a challenging boss that also functions as a stat check. Have to note that if her snakes light up, she is trying to counter any attacks you make with an attack that pretty much one-shots. Knowing this, a dude can eat an item, meditate, or buff up (Power up! for the win). I recommend having defensive buff spells (yes, they need intelligence but even the weakest form is good) up whenever you can with her while you chip away at her HP.
I only just started and the first thing that comes to mind with the extensive stat system is that this definitely looks like something people would love a cheat menu/option or just an outright save editor for o.o

I mean... I can't take the post seriously. The game auto saves on every dialog choice. If they even remotely played, there is a save of what they did lmao. So beyond that, I don't think they would realize this is a semi grindy RPG type game lmao.
I agree that the Labyrinth is hard and stat-checks the player, but it is not unfair since the girls do have attack patterns that one may notice and exploit a bit. If you feel that your dude is not strong enough, farm mimics for big money and exp. They are vulnerable to seduction attacks.
I beg someone help me clear the third floor of the labyrinth I've been stuck on it for 3 days and every time i get really close i end up locked in a loop of not beating beris or the second chick and being unable to escape. Pls and ty
1st off, something that caused me a lot of strife, for the longest time I just, didn't realize I got all the keys. So I was just running around like a headless chicken and getting widdled away, that might be happening to you to.
2nd, if that fails stock up on healing and status ailment recovery. You can use your inventory when navigating the map, so any time anything happens to you, heal up to max right after
3rd, run away as much as you can. Get gear that makes it eaiser to run away, respec to be able to run away, go the whole nine yards. You should not be fighting the hell hounds unless you have to.
They do get a huge boost in levels every time you defeat them. Beris, you will want the Demon Layer weapon. I usually use Overpower (Power buff), Detect weakness (Crit chance buff), and overlimit (massive 1-turn dmg increase) before smacking her with a strong attack. Ushris (Thick-thighed witch) can be gotten rid of only one time by holy headpats. Second time onwards, seduction attacks get through her barrier. If you seek levels, fight mimics. Mimics are easy prey for seduction-based attacks and drop lots of exp and eros (money).

Is anyone else having a problem where the game repeatedly closes? I can't even play for a minute and if I'm lucky it'll stay open about 4 or 5 minutes before closing again.
Is there a way to fix it, I've cleared the cache deleted and redownloading it to no luck, I'm on android.
Clearing caches doesn't work. The problem is the game is so badly optimized, that it lags and barely runs. Time will tell if the devs care enough about the Android build to bother to fix the problem as it has been persistent, but till then this game largely remains unplayable.
So, upon testing, crashing only really occurs while skipping in combat. At least for me, that is. The most common culprit is the tengu in will temple. If skipping, the game will become unresponsive at the end of turn 1.

I haven't played for long but this is how you get started:
- visit her on the mountain over and over
- Talking to her is important!
- Get milked :D
- repeat
- Do this often enough and you'll get a special cutscene with her in that you can't stop her from being milked.
- You'll then wake up in her home and she'll realize that you got addicted to her venom.
(If you haven't talked to her she'll heal your addiction and nothing will happen but when you talked to her she'll let you ask some questions)
- and after you asked ALL the questions she will ask you if you have feelings for her
- You'll get multiple options on accepting or rejecting her though the choice will probably be obvious ;)
- Don't be surprised if she turns you down. She will tell you if you get addicted a second time she'll consider your love
... That is as far as I got.

1. In files (you need EX File Explorer) go to the directory:
Internal Storage>Android>data>monstergirldreams.program>files
2. Inside the "files" folder create a new folder named "mods" without the quotations.
3. Download and extract the mods
4. Copy/Paste the mod files (still in the original folder) in to the mods folder you just created
5. Load up the game and have fun.

As others have pointed out, mods can be helpful. You could also just enable the console. The wiki even tells you how to, along with the full list of commands to fine tune your stats and what not.
There's a way to transfer your save for a new version?
Yes. First, make sure you save in Town, then keep a copy of the save folder that you'll move to the new version. This for PC. I don't know how things work for the Android version.

MiXplorer app. It will allow you to browse the Android Data folder.
Typically if you use mobile, it will prompt to just update the game. It will then keep the save file paths intact (usually) so there shouldn't be any issues when a new version drops.

Beris is fine as she is, what you wish for is something which would defeat the purpose of character builds.
her lamia sister was a serious pain in the ass, i had to cheat my way throught her floor
Label is certainly a challenging boss that also functions as a stat check. Have to note that if her snakes light up, she is trying to counter any attacks you make with an attack that pretty much one-shots. Knowing this, a dude can eat an item, meditate, or buff up (Power up! for the win). I recommend having defensive buff spells (yes, they need intelligence but even the weakest form is good) up whenever you can with her while you chip away at her HP.
I only just started and the first thing that comes to mind with the extensive stat system is that this definitely looks like something people would love a cheat menu/option or just an outright save editor for o.o
it heavily reminds me of Corruption of Champions stat systems, and I really enjoy tinkering with that stuff... albeit idk how I would go about editing the data on my mobile lol. At least with CoC 1 & 2 I knew where the save data went. This? No clue.
Cheats via mods and the Renpy save editor do exist.

by far the worst part of the game...mostly because its slow and very challenging to mental endurance even on easy it just takes super long and nobody tested it on android with cheaper phone...

I mean... I can't take the post seriously. The game auto saves on every dialog choice. If they even remotely played, there is a save of what they did lmao. So beyond that, I don't think they would realize this is a semi grindy RPG type game lmao.
I agree that the Labyrinth is hard and stat-checks the player, but it is not unfair since the girls do have attack patterns that one may notice and exploit a bit. If you feel that your dude is not strong enough, farm mimics for big money and exp. They are vulnerable to seduction attacks.
I beg someone help me clear the third floor of the labyrinth I've been stuck on it for 3 days and every time i get really close i end up locked in a loop of not beating beris or the second chick and being unable to escape. Pls and ty
1st off, something that caused me a lot of strife, for the longest time I just, didn't realize I got all the keys. So I was just running around like a headless chicken and getting widdled away, that might be happening to you to.
2nd, if that fails stock up on healing and status ailment recovery. You can use your inventory when navigating the map, so any time anything happens to you, heal up to max right after
3rd, run away as much as you can. Get gear that makes it eaiser to run away, respec to be able to run away, go the whole nine yards. You should not be fighting the hell hounds unless you have to.

Most of them, if you get the Pink PP effect you might as well be dead.

They do get a huge boost in levels every time you defeat them. Beris, you will want the Demon Layer weapon. I usually use Overpower (Power buff), Detect weakness (Crit chance buff), and overlimit (massive 1-turn dmg increase) before smacking her with a strong attack. Ushris (Thick-thighed witch) can be gotten rid of only one time by holy headpats. Second time onwards, seduction attacks get through her barrier. If you seek levels, fight mimics. Mimics are easy prey for seduction-based attacks and drop lots of exp and eros (money).

Is anyone else having a problem where the game repeatedly closes? I can't even play for a minute and if I'm lucky it'll stay open about 4 or 5 minutes before closing again.
Is there a way to fix it, I've cleared the cache deleted and redownloading it to no luck, I'm on android.
Clearing caches doesn't work. The problem is the game is so badly optimized, that it lags and barely runs. Time will tell if the devs care enough about the Android build to bother to fix the problem as it has been persistent, but till then this game largely remains unplayable.

Same. They must have like really old phones. Never had single crash or lag and i would say im using old Phone :D
So, upon testing, crashing only really occurs while skipping in combat. At least for me, that is. The most common culprit is the tengu in will temple. If skipping, the game will become unresponsive at the end of turn 1.
Other games that are several times the size of this game run just fine.
It's a game problem. Not a phone problem. Besides, the phone is just a couple of years old. You shouldn't need NASA technology to run a 2D text game.

Don't bother trying to bind Beris, she will break out in like one turn
Read the dodge stat, you can also dodge while being under stun or restrain, instead of a "dodge", think of it as if you "missed"
