To add onto this, the game breaks very easily it seems... like I went through some dialogs then it hard locked. Checked some scenes in the gallery because they weren't locked and it would act as if I had done the scene during the game but because I hadn't it would also hard lock. Hell, some of the gallery scenes had no way of getting out of them lmao. I'm unsure if it is just the Android side breaking things, but it's so broken that it is unplayable atm. Hope it gets fixed, I'd like to give this a try.

Huh... just downloaded it because it caught my eye, and I play these games on my phone but like... it prompted that this app isn't up to date with the current version of Android apparently. And then it opened the app weirdly where it doesn't actually fit the screen properly. Never seen that before (the weird screen thing). Seen a few apps say they were out of date, but those were from games on her that haven't been updated since like 2021 lol

Surprised by how much I liked it, tbh. It could use some minor spelling and grammar fixes all the way through, but since it's made to mostly be a silly thing in general I can ignore most of it lol. It does make me curious though, any thoughts on doing this as a series? Like next we see what happened with the mom and dad as a prequel of sorts, or maybe follow it up with the gf past and future? Like what happened in the past with the gf and what happens when she gets moved in etc? I would totally be down for those, or any other spin off where he just has these "accidents" with random ladies through his life. There was mention of his best friends through the years as well. Either way, was pretty well done and I honestly look forward to the conclusion of this one. Worth the small amount of money and then some :)

Some good recommends here. I know some of it would be a bit complicated, like the magick combo idea triggering the right things to get the correct outcome would take a bit of trial and error. But the day cycle idea should be relatively simple. I just don't if that would cause all the quests and events to need a minor overhaul to fit the day cycle change... which would be a hassle and a half I bet.

Was a lot better before the complete overhaul... hardly any of it makes sense, let alone the mess of broken everything on top of it. Between the guessing game that is the Chat options to just reloading gambling to make money for basically no reason... seriously, I got all the way up to 25 charisma and it doesn't actually affect anything. Even got to double digits on strength and intelligence but those don't do anything either. And just about any choice to talk with anyone who isn't the 2 at home just spits you back out of the dialog. So much work down the drain from the old version to now ):

that's equal parts amazing and great, we need more of these games referencing eachother in goofy ways like that imo.

nah, just remembered (which is why I came to see if anyone responded) and I'm pretty sure it was WCA lol. They have a skit with one character where they watch an episode of Crimson High on Netflix or w/e it was. At least pretty sure I got the name right, World Crossing Academy?

I swear I saw this either in another game as a sort of joke ad/reference... or did I see an ad somewhere else? Damn my bad memory, I know I've seen this somewhere recently but don't remember where it was XD

Anyone got the answer? Like I coulda sworn it was used in another game I played very recently...

not to worried about a game over or anything, but when trying different dialogs with Rae during the intro sequence, I found one that would increase either intimacy or lewdness depending on the choice, but like... almost directly after that, she drags you to the dream realm and seems to reset those values once she realizes you aren't some big shot magi lol. And some of the other stuff being said changes depending on dialogs, like if you keep telling the truth, she will admit that she was mistaken and you did keep telling her, but if you play along with it the dialog is different in how she says you don't do magi stuff lmao. It's fun lil paths like that that make me curious what choice does what, if that makes sense. And rarely do I see a wiki or guide note those little details down lol. Like putting a lil footnote in a choice section that it will change X event down the line. Corruption Of Champions 2 wiki kinda does that, but the wiki had fallen behind a lot last I played it. So older events would sometimes directly link to a different page depending on what happened.

Sorry, bit long winded, but I always find spaghetti pathing in choices fascinating to see what does what and how it changes stuff.

(1 edit)

that actually makes a lot of sense, and now I kinda wish others would utilize this method. I've come across plenty of large file sized games on here, but a lot tend to use an external link to do the download due to itchio limitations, and with the way this is set up it shouldn't cause issues with saves and Corrupted files as much if you just delete the old rpa and replace it with the new one... hadn't thought of that before, so just shared the idea with a friend who wants to try their own thing and has been getting lots of inspiration from lots of different games.

I will probably get back to this later today, but the way I play... I tend to dabble with choice paths and whatnot, but this one seems to really tie in choices down long pathways. So it's now making me curious if anyone has compiled a wiki or anything similar to a guide to detail what choices impact later scenes or stats lol. That's just something I'm curious about because I like to see and witness all the content of games like this :D (and yes a lot of folks would say "just replay it to change your choices" but that becomes tedious and degrades a game imo... so I typically only replay games maybe 2 times before they grow stale... and that's at best.)

(1 edit)

Figured it out. So, if you tap the rpa file it will try and "update" the game (launcher) and then poof I guess. Which is what threw me off lol, couldn't find the rpa file, so had to wait a couple min to download new and move it to the game folder. Then it weirdly crashed, quickly followed with the app crash closing, so I couldn't even see the error message... but when I relaunched it, it worked. Just a bit of jank lmao

Tl;Dr is install launcher apk, then download rpa and move it to the designated file location (documents/ahitr_storage/game), and run it till it works XD

I have to ask, what's the android launcher for? Haven't seen other games do that before and curious if I need that before/after downloading the apk or at all

lol, be me and finish season 1, have the survey pop up, recommend adding a bit of sandbox aspects so people can interact with who they want a few times and loosely mention character/event flags to trigger main story progress.

Be also me, start up season 2, and see that it's already been a thing being worked on lmao. Definitely looking forward to how this story goes, and I'm just saying that after only getting as far as the Free Time explanation lmao. This has been so well done :D

Daaaamn this is well done. Though it is basically on tracks, the writing is well done, characters are relatable and enjoyable, theres actual *reasons* for shit instead of a "just because", and the overall look of things is actuallly better than expected given the tools used. And seeing some of the before and after lighting things or stuff that was clearly improved on is also rad. Shared this with a friend and they got so into it that they made it to chapter 5 while my slow readin ass was still on the first friday lmao. I will have to see how season 2 is, and definitely look forward to the rewrite and combine I been seeing you talk about. Keep up the rad work, this is up there with Once In A Lifetime and Eternum for something that could legit be made into a TV series or movie or something lol.

ya, doesn't really matter, not playing a game that requires those types of permissions lol. If it was just access to certain files so it can create folders it needs, fine. It should never need to read, modify, or delete *"all files"* ever.

no issues, I figured it would be a solo project. A lot of these tend to be. I wish I was as knowledgeable as my friend or some of the other creative folks I've talked to on here to give examples and advice on the animation side of things... honestly, some of them make it look easy, but as someone who has dabbled in game design... I bloody well know better. It's why I said it could help balance the descriptive text when used, because you could set it up as described. And from what I've seen, you can be fairly descriptive lol. I said this to a buddy I showed this to, in how it reminded me of old RP I did years ago. The best way to improve is to keep doing it and get creative with your thinking, but also making sure to keep it coherent and non contradictory to what is being described. I would have to redo the entire thing to find the specific line that I had to re-read, so I can't tell you which one it was off the top of my head. Sorry. But it's what really reminded me of how I used to write things lol.

As for any of the rest, it's good to see it's already planned for fixing here n there and I would definitely not expect any of what I said right now this instant. I know these things take a lot of time, it's why I made sure to stress that this has a good base and just needs some building and polish :D you don't make a bridge or skyscraper in a day, after all. Again, I will look forward to possibly getting back to this after it's gotten more updates to see how well it's coming along. Good luck and I hope you keep having fun with it!

Aaaaand nevermind, the initial phone warning about downloading potentially harmful stuff already makes me worry but like... why would this game need access to unrelated files and permission to *delete all files on this phone or any connected storage devices?!* this just immediately makes me uninstall it lol, that's beyond sketchy af.

Holy download files, batman! Look how many there are! And seeing some other people drop some reviews in the comments got me wondering how this will go, so I will probably also drop a review in a while or a couple days depending on how the game goes n how busy I am.

I do have to ask though... is there a spot I missed that explains the download progression? I saw one comment get a response on how you gotta play act one 0.5 first to have a save to start act 2... but I also see there's multiple update files for act 2 so like... is this procedural? Do I got 0.5 into 9.0 into 9.1 into 9.2? Or do I go from 0.5 into 9.5 directly?

alright, after playing some if (if not most of) chapter 2, I can definitely say it's got an alright base but needs some reworking here and there along with some proof reading. Namely for the dialog issues that conflict with prior dialogs. The most obvious one being if you turn down Saki during the initial meeting, you go and find the others, where Zorah says she never talked about her ex before... but in chapter 1, she directly states what happened to said ex just before you are given the choice to turn her down or bone her. She told it in relatively good detail as well... there's a few other weird writing conflicts, and the rapid pacing can be a bit jarring at times. I did see *some* animation here and there, but it's sometimes got nothing to do with what is being stated in the description text (like when banging Zorah, iirc the text described bending her over and setting her on the ground, meanwhile the animation has her leg up in the air lol). This definitely shows some promise, but some reworking to have better dialog and story consistency along with some proof reading to get the names right or the very minor spelling/grammar bits is kinda needed. I still recommend using a bit more animation at bare minimum to help support the descriptive text, and maybe have a few more transition scenes so it isn't quite as jarring between each scene shift/change. Good luck, I might check back on this at a later date

I tend to do some review type posts after giving these types of games a try, usually with constructive criticism regarding certain aspects of the games. In regards to this, I personally am mixed on the overall look but can also recognize a lot of the free assets being used. It's not good but it's not bad either, and it definitely sets itself up well with what you are working with. It's also interesting regarding how it's coded and pathed on top of that, and combine that with the general premise of the game I wanted to give it a try. And after doing the initial start of the game up to getting the silly achievement pop up in the corner, I'm honestly impressed with how well written it is. It does have a few issues, but it doesn't have many spelling or grammar mistakes (only needs a minor proof reading to fix the small issued here and there but it really isn't anything major). The biggest writing issue is in regards to the names early on tbh. There's a couple things that use Norah's name when I'm pretty sure it should be Zorah, there's some issues with posting the player name in a couple spots, and the Kevin bit might be part of my next bit. The story itself is interesting, but it doesn't exactly do well with having the sudden future or past story bits suddenly cut in. I can only assume Kevin was the mc's original name before they decided to go with w/e name you gave them? Which isn't explained at all, so I thought it was a broken code issue or something. Then having future mc/evil mc suddenly pop up in what I guess is a dream and talk about Lilim was really random and out of nowhere, especially with the weird process of player character being surprised about Lilim being mentioned as if they know who she is then directly after asking who she is, then after the Norah boning scene she is suddenly on screen saying how we will meet her soon? Like... it's a bit to randomly all over the place to properly keep track of the story rails lol, it keeps derailing here n there. On the one hand, it's kinda nice to have it get right into things, but on the other hand there's no foundation building for these characters to suddenly appear and act as if we have known them all along. Outside of these bits, it's honestly well written. Nicely funny, good detail work in descriptions, but could definitely use some polish.

Now, it might just be me, I think it could use some animation added into it instead of static images with lengthy explanations of what is going on. Hell, you could even still keep the descriptions while showing what's happening as well, but like... the jarring transition from one still image to the next doesn't really match up with what's being described in text all the time. So I feel like adding some animation will not only be good for the player/viewer, but also the writing process to keep it consistent.

Sorry this is a bit lengthy, and I have only really done the initial intro sequence but like... I can definitely see some promise in this. It's got a good base, it just needs some building and polish to make it solid. If you've read this far, I look forward to playing more of it and seeing what updates will bring to it :D

gotcha, it says everyone so it's why I was curious especially since there's no note or instruction that I saw regarding it. Figured it's best to ask before complaining something broke lol

so I'm about to give this a try on android, and I see that the update for the free Android file is from 19 days ago (according to itchio download page a few mins ago). But I also see the 3.23 for everyone from 5 days ago and like... what the dog doin?

Do I install the android 3.22 then grab the 3.23 file after? Does it just update existing files? What's up?

That is entirely on your end, if you are being told you are out of room you need to clear out your memory clutter lol. That's not on the dev's side at all.

Get them eat me cakes goin? Lol

Alright, been meaning to post a follow up to my hopes on this being good just from seeing some awesome coding and customization of the main menu stuff that I ain't seen before.

I even got my buddy to try this, because they like the premise and look and was hella fascinated by the coding aspect because they wanna make their own stuff. They quit playing like an hour in because the writing rubbed them to hard the wrong way. And I can kinda agree, but I also realize it's some troll comedy and some of it made me laugh. I do have to question if English isn't the primary of whoever is writing, because damn is it hard to properly read some bits.

My over all opinion is that it's honestly very well done. The look of things, the coding of how certain things work, I've seen shit I didn't know you could do in renpy done here. But i gotta agree, the writing is the only actual down side here. The first part of that is stated above, but the next part is due to just the illusion of choice factor going on. The number of times you are given a chance to choose something for it to literally say no, choose the other line... it's pointless. Like painfully pointless. It lost its humor in the intro phase when even the writer put in the line of "the player is probably getting tired of this by now" (or something along that line). Add onto that the mc being just an outright asshole for no reason then following it up with being the wimpiest lil bitch known to man... bruh, choose one, please. And stop automatically just being a douche for no gods damned reason. The fuck you got against goths?! Lmao. I get the like... Alice in wonderland style theme, where nothing will make sense... but writing the mc to just be the most dumb, most wimpy, and yet most asshole-ish character *ever* is such a weird choice that it's hard to keep playing. But the rest of the bits, from the looks, the animation, how stuff is coded... it keeps me playing while showing screen shots to my buddy who dropped the game lol. If anyone has read to this point, it needs a hell of a lot of rewriting and absolutely needs a proof reading to fix a ton of lines... but it's not to bad for something you can try for free. If it at least gets the proof reading to fix spelling and grammar issues, I might even drop money to support it.

Talking to a friendo about some of the games I been looking through while browsing itchio, and just downloaded this one to give it a try... I have now sent a few screen shots to them and we haven't even started the game yet XD

I've played a lot of renpy stuff over the last year or two but have no memory of seeing the menus so stylized and whatnot, so I got high hopes since the main menu already got me this amazed lmao. Also the "whats inside" list already hit a number of marks for me, which is why this is the first one in a dozen games I'm trying lol.

Man, the stark difference between the 2 posts below this is literally night and day lmao. Might give this one a try at a later date.

So, unsure if you figured out the issue, but in some cases when you go to update a renpy game in mobile it can have some weird errors take place. My best example from experience is when I downloaded an update for a different game that refused to update the game, then the next update just installed a completely new game file (basically duplicating the game files with a new one) and the new one couldn't grab the save of the old file. Had to just start over entirely as well, because the save files were incompatible.

I bring up this example not as a "this is how you fix it" but a "I hope it isn't this bad for you" example of how fucky these games can be on Android ._.

I have this strange feeling you definitely didn't finish all content currently available if you are missing some of this sfuff :o

You may have progressed before properly doing some stuff which cut them off because you can't go back n do stuff after certain points and events.

.... lol...

This is actually really well done, was surprised lol. It has various spots where a proof reading is needed, between slight misspellings and some words missing from some sayings as if it was typed a bit to fast... it could also use just a bit more info on a few things, and maybe have a highlight option in the settings for the map? Sometimes forgetting where a location is just to tap all over (I'm on mobile) just to make sure there isn't a new scene gets a bit dumb fast. It would also be nice if the unlock spots were labeled as such, I honestly didn't realize the glamor slam required each spot to be unlocked individually lmao so I had it fully upgraded and figured it would unlock more as I progressed. So color me surprised when I accidentally tap a spot and see an upgrade purchase window lmao. Just some minor like... indicators here and there, or tool tips on what does what. Like I still don't really know what the differences are in creating level 1 devices vs level 3, but I keep doing level 3 anyway xD there's other minor things, but it's just under the blanket of indicators and tool tips. Looking forward to more updates, and it would be super awesome if the older scenes got an animated pass over.

Chances are very high, and a section of this page denotes some customization control if you want to be dom or sub. If it's similar to CwG, there will most likely be a few dommy mommy options ;P especially since this one has like double the cast.

Oh hey, a new one from a familiar dev. Really enjoyed most of Confined with Goddesses, so I really look forward to how this one plays out. Especially if it has a deep level of customization like the page describes. Like I enjoyed the teacher milf in last game but some scenes were a bit much for my tastes lmao. Not by a lot, but still. So having some more control over just how submissive you can be will be nice. What a weird statement, right? Lmao.

I will probably hold off on downloading it until it has more content though, that was I'm not flooding the replies each update ^^;

I will preface with "the game has great work put into it."

I am honestly very impressed by just how much work has been put into this, from the coding, the mechanics, the systems, and the overall look of things. Great work. It has honestly amazed me just how this game is able to do some things, and made me wish I could change my own mental world in order to make a game using similar concepts but for different purposes.

Now for the "but." I can enjoy some NTR and corruption stuff... but only if it is written well or in certain ways. This is, sadly, not written in a way that I can enjoy. I actually am going to stop playing it simply because I keep weighing how much I like the rest of the game vs how things are written... and the way things are written is rapidly growing to be to heavy of a garbage pile to keep playing. I get there are people who can enjoy or like this style, but... I just keep regularly thinking "good gods, this would make the most chuuni of people cringe at just how satirically bad this is written." I will admit, there are parts that I enjoyed or even laughed at. Like one of the early bits that is very obviously a jab at Gurren Lagaan. Love the anime, and I can readily admit it is an over the top mess, but it's great lmao. And the silly spoof with George asking "did he just throw a Galaxy like a ninja star?" Or however it was worded made me legit laugh. There are other parts but like... when 85% give or take of the writing just causes nausea, you can't exactly keep going for that 15% that is fun, funny, or interesting...

I honestly do hope the person or people working on this make other games, because this one is so well done it is honestly almost painful to drop it just because I really dislike how it's written.

Understandable, I personally just don't want to add yet another Discord that I won't be active in, and I don't have a good income to warrant paying for a Patreon sub in general so I typically don't look at Patreon links. Upon checking the Patreon though... most updates are all locked behind the base pay wall. I have seen other Patreons at least freely allow people to see the update notes or something, so like... Due to me being poor as fuck, I can't exactly see anything in regards to updates. Which leaves this page still, which has been neglected ^^;; pair that with other comments also saying stuff (like one of the replies that you even responded to above this post) it kinda makes sense why I felt like the game had died. After all, the last news thing posted on this page was over a year ago >_>;; and like... there hasn't exactly been any new update either. Regardless, doesn't change that I am happy to hear this isn't a dead game, it is really well done and I look forward to updates and next parts to the game :)

lil P.S. bit: have you considered putting like... older versions for free but current version as a paid for option on itchio like some other devs do? It would potentially help you as well as keep the players in the loop? ^^; Specifically for folks like me who can maybe make 1 payment vs a paid subscription...

oh holy shit, the dev speaks! Don't take that the wrong way, but like... there hasn't been any word anywhere that I've seen, so I figured this was just dropped for some reason. Honestly just glad to see a message saying it hasn't been, I'm not going to ask for or demand an update, take your time. Just, yknow, remember to keep the consumer updated on stuff so we know we can still look forward to your work? ^^

(1 edit)

Unsure what happened, but the game almost broke my android. Had just gotten the knight Aria, then I was grinding the runes... I think something glitched while I was finishing redoing rune 11 or 12 because I saw it flash to a scene for a split second before taking me back to the tower, but then it was like a memory leak became a tidal wave. Phone suddenly started lagging even after I closed the game and lost an hour of progress because I couldn't save due to it lagging, and it was making my phone rapidly heat up because of just how much it was trying to keep up with whatever happened. Not sure what triggered it, sadly... but that was a really bad glitch.

Had to close the app, clear the background processes, and restart my phone to fix the lag even after closing the app.

Hey that's rad, I was already thinking of buying the more current version because I am honestly enjoying this. Again, really looking forward to more lewd scenes. The art is really nice, but the way its animated is also pretty smooth. I am also thankful you don't do the like blinding strobe effect some games do, it's just a couple short flashes when the cum scene happens.

So I'm playing on my android, and really enjoying it. Dig the art as well, and the jokes have made me cough from laughing to much. Very few spelling or grammatical errors, which is great, and definitely some interesting concepts. The rng auto battle thing isn't my thing, but I can still dig it. I do have an OCD tendency to clear areas, even if the early tutorial thing said to avoid combat due to no real returns...

On to a couple minor things: there are usually things I like to give input on in a lot of these games, but this one really just had 2 things and it's the cash gain minigames you can so at the start. The bar tending one is how I made all my money so far, but the "go" button could be a bit bigger for mobile users. Sometimes I miss the button ever so slightly and that loses me some money lol. The hard mode version also doesn't really give any proper return, you are better off just doing normal because you are guaranteed triple digit payout vs maybe getting lucky lol. And as for the fishing minigame... it just does not work well at all on mobile. If it auto picked up fish as you move over the sparkling spots, it would fix the major issue imo. But with how the movement can be a bit jank and then having to basically be lucky on also tapping the sparkling spot as you get on them... you will often times miss a lot of fish because they shift as you get to them, and the mobile movement might make you go around it weirdly. This isn't even touching on how the sparkling spots seem to really enjoy staying in the rocky zones the player can't actually get to, thus wasting time because they just can't be interacted with. If I was on keyboard, I could see how fishing would be the better cash option to do, but mobile... I'm lucky if I get 6 fish. And that's if the mobile movement doesn't randomly move me into a whirlpool lol. So easiest fix I can think of is to have it auto collect fish as you go over them.

Went a bit long on that, but otherwise this is actually really well put together and well done. I really do look forward to more lewd stuff ;D

I can respect having a demo then a nice small price for the full game, looking forward to giving this a try later.
