Gotta love that narrator for every piece. Neat game, I can see myself sinking some hours in it

Awesome voice acting. I also had the problem that orders were on top of each other so it made the game unplayable haha. Still great concept.

This game surprised me! The logo wasn't very attractive, but when I started playing and heard the amazing voice acting, it got me. Fun game, would play again!

thanks for playing! Beatbot did the sounds and music and we added last minute. They really brought it all together. Sorry for the poor logo, made it in aesprite when submitting and it was quick and dirty!

The sounds are awesome! I only  had a problem because the order boxes were on top of each other and when I dropped the ingredients they were added to multiple orders at once. I don't think that was intended, but in the end I used it to prepare multiple burgers at the same time :-P

I'm still pretty new to Godot and I'm not sure why this is happening. Myself and one other play tested it and didn't experience that. But then he did later. Might have to do with different resolutions? Thanks for playing!

Hey, I tried it again and found the problem. I had my screen running at 60Hz and when I switched it to 144Hz the boxes were properly spaced and moved faster.
I guess you are moving the boxes in function _process(delta), right? The best solution would be to always multiply the distance the boxes move by the 'delta' argument and a speed multiplier.
Good luck on your Godot journey!

Ahh, that makes complete sense! Thank you!

Fun theme!

Want to do my burger now :)

Adding some graphics to background and menus will help to improve the feel.

I was unable to go back to the main menu to try the harder difficulties, but I liked what I got to play! Good take on the theme, it got a bit repetitive after a while. Love the sound effects for the items, that was top notch.

What browser are you using? Used Godot 4 which may have been more trouble than it was worth. I am able to load on chrome and edge

It was Firefox. Now I tried Edge and it worked.

Only Chromium-based browsers work for Godot 4 exports right now so Firefox and Safari are a no-go unfortunately.
